Trevor, thanks for the video! How do you use ripple in Capcut? Sometimes I need to insert an element in the middle of a large project, but it's inconvenient to select everything and move it around. It's a real problem.
If you only have one layer of video, keep the track magnet on, put the play head where you want to insert clip, select clip from the import window and hit the +. If you have more than one layer, turn track magnet off and use the select track rightward tool to move everything out of the way so you can add your clip. Leave snapping on the make this easier.
Great video! Can you show us a way to create a compound clip in CapCut Mobile? I keep having issues where sounds are lined up correctly in the timeline but if I add or delete a section of video, it screws everything up and it has to be manually changed.
Mobile is a bit limiting. The only way I'm aware of to create a compound clip in mobile is to export video you've tweaked and reimport. As far as keeping audio in sync - ya, that's an issue. It defaults to a magnetic timeline and I don't know of a way to turn that off. Perhaps in a future version? There are many more options in CapCut desktop.
@@TrevorJonescreator Ok. 👍🏽. I’m still currently doing most of my filming on my iPhone and or a GoPro, and then transferring any GoPro footage to my iPhone for editing. It’s always seemed like an extra step to move any footage from my phone to a computer to use a full PC editor but maybe I need to make the leap and just do. Thanks for the reply.
