    Following the launch of NANOQ S, the NANOQ R will launch in May. A slightly larger size (16L vs 11L). Which would you choose?! Smallest size possible found here on the S, or slightly larger for extended cooling & GPU compatibility? Either way, as soon as the R version lands you’ll see it on the channel 😎 Exciting times for Thor Zone.

      So in terms of build difficulty, what lvl u gotta rate with this one, certainly not an ez one by the look of it

    • @Mr_Matt_Lee
      @Mr_Matt_Lee  7 місяців тому +3

      @@Gamber63 absolutely not. It requires time, patience and hardware planning, but the rewards are well worth it. A solid 8.5/10 - but would be more like a 7/10 with custom length PSU cables.

      I would buy the R, since it can fit a 240-280mm AIO and a larger GPU. When you do the build on it you should get the wood grill option.

    Dude why you´re using Intel K CPU for such an tiny case?? That cpu cooler seems to be very kind to use it on the 7800X3D. This Intel cpu under load is going up to 180W... maybe more. But not in this case, thanks to thermal throttling. The other parts do look fine to me. But why this unnecessary cpu heater (14600K) on a dead platform?? BTW back in the day i did like Intel more than AMD.

    This is a nice pc build, my only complaint is why didn't you go with a 7800x3d since this is a gaming build?? 14600k is a dead platform, for a new build should of went am5.. plus it would had been cooler with less power draw etc..

    Beautifully shot. My only concern would be the mash of cables blocking good air flow to any crucial areas. Also, could not tell how high off the ground the case is with those little rubber feet. The bottom fans would work much better if the clearance is adequate. I imagine a single stand in the middle with a thin bottom plate that would make the unit look like it's floating an inch or two off the ground. Over all, this is a beautiful case imo. Does it come in a white, brushed metal combo?

      Intel CPUs are 🔥 hot

    • @t7274
      @t7274 5 місяців тому +4

      Intel CPUs can run just as cool as AMD ones with very little to no fps loss if you know what you’re doing. Stock voltages go way too high because of both Intel and the mobo manufacturers. Simply disabling multi-core enhancement and down-clocking 100-200mhz will give you a nice temperature drop. Now, are the AMD CPUs more efficient? Yes but they can often run hotter at the same Intel wattage.

    did you have trouble with the case hitting the riser cable? i saw another channel mentioning this and its my only hangup about getting this

    • @THORZONE
      @THORZONE 7 місяців тому

      We added a chamfer to a pretty sharp internal edge of the shell, included in all production units, so it pushes the riser out of the way. That said, it’s important to lower the shell down slowly and without using force - if it suddenly gets stuck that means something is in the way and needs to gently be pushed in. If you’re willing to invest an extra few seconds into putting the shell on carefully, you won’t have any issues.

    Amazing and great to see you use the Thermalright cpu contact frame 👏🏻👍🙏. Especially in black!

    Can you invert the layout? Seems like Top Exhaust would be best layout.

    I'm curious on temps and noise level. It seems to have plenty of priority airflow, but would it be loud under load?

    Love the build but I've got a question about the CPU guard. Do you need to tighten the screws in any order or is it the same as tightening the screws on a CPU cooler?

    Personally I'm more for cleaner looking boutique ITX cases which are more minimalist in design, but I'm all for new cases to hit the market! As always amazing camera work and editing!

    Yep. Jay just built in his, and it's nowhere as nice as your build. You had the proper order to install the riser cable too - MB first, then screw on the case support. Very nice 👍

    I feel like even with the 14600k some heavy undervolting and power limiting is going to be needed to keep it under control.
