      You better put a layer of air filter sheet/foam on the casing walls that have input flows. And also if you have time to dremmel the back of your casing so your fan can stay inside.

    7:03 - 3x outtake fans next to the water cooling steal all the air.
    8:03 - The cool air goes through the front and turns into hot air right away from the GPU, then gets drawn out.
    8:14 - Draw air from the side panel... we should have a window there, right?
    Major issue: Only 1 cool air intake from the rear (or the 3 fans from the water cooling may also draw from the rear but very weakly... I don't think the video shows much on that part).
    I really don't see how the water cooling draws air (and it's useless for an RGB water cooling system because it's all hidden).
    Also, the PCI-E extended cable is just too long... when the motherboard is designed, it should be as close to the CPU socket as possible.
    I would never go for this kind of build.

    Are there any issues with motherboard cooling on this board? The airflow visual almost made it seem like barely any air even with the rear intake passed over the board. Just immediately got sucked to the back. Also does that rear fan bracket fit a 30mm fan like the T30? I'd also love to know if the Lian Li Hydroshift could be adjusted to work with this design since it's default out of the box config might not be long enough. Maybe undo one management bracket.

    @mr_matt_lee Your projects have always inspire some of us on how to approach new PC builds, and I am one of your admirers. Unfortunately, some of us (Me) will never be able to construct a budget gaming pc owing to unavoidable circumstances.
    Now, I was so intrigued by your budget pc build using Montech Air 903 max pc case, that I purchased it through your link, and it was cheap and I love it. The downside was that when shipping from my US warehouse to my country, the shipping payment alone could allow me to buy four more Extra max Air 903 cases, and since that day, I have never recovered enough to even pull myself up to buy accessories to build a pc.
    I just have an empty computer case in my store trying to figure out how to go about it because its accessories are either 8x pricey or not locally available.

    • @NyteStalker89
      @NyteStalker89 Місяць тому +1

      You have 5 intake vs 3 exhaust. You created a dead spot of hot air in your case where it's not circulating properly. Also mixing and matching fans in either CFM or size isn't optimal. You tend to normally want equal amounts of the same fan for intake and exhaust. If your intakes are pulling in air faster than your exhaust can help.. exhaust, then you get the above mentioned pockets of hot air sitting inside the case, raising the ambient temps inside by a few degrees which you're seeing in CPU and probably also GPU temps.

    Stupid question but how is the airflow when not gaming? The GPU Fans in my current build are mostly not running bc it doesn't need to when i'm not playing. I love this case but one fan on the back and 3 where you don't see them is kinda boring.

    Looks amazing but is the single back fan actually doing anything? Hard to see on the airflow
