They got their charges now and that's all they need. D1 dash was so barebones there was virtually no visual effects when you performed, it was just a weird animation you did to generate momentum out of nothing.
I remember that thing was considered to be trash when it first dropped but eventually became the sleeper skill weapon, kind of like fighting lion though FL took more buffs to make it competitive.
You are sadly mistaken, base fighting lion with catylist was the best version of the gun, and has received mostly nerfs since the gun originally came out.
They can’t make it take primary ammo as that would ruin the ammo economy. They would have to make it take special ammo but change the intrinsic trait from primary care to something cool. What made it exotic to me was that it was a bolt action rifle so I think they should increase the rechamber speed but get rid of the reload cancel glitch. The master is a cool perk though.
Wouldn't ruin anything. Slow enough ttk and lower damage compared to normal snipers and it's done. Reworked exotic perk could offer some way of upping the damage occasionally for crit oneshots, otherwise it doesn't need that to be fun. Just look at Biting Winds with Swashbuckler. It ain't special ammo, but it can oneshot to the head at full stacks.

I loved using it on the map that had the train tunnel going between two bases. I'd crouch in the small room off to the side and just pop a shot, duck back in. Repeat. Was fun as hell. :D

I wouldn't want to see it in D2 in its current state D2s crucible is very different and NLB would break it make it special ammo then maybe, but the fact it has such little zoom may still be a problem
@@yhelloh Just how different PvP is now its much slower then D1, less special, less heavy hell snipers already broke the game for a bit and had to be tuned down, revoker being a great example bungie tried just breaking PvP with stasis that did not turn out well
I still have PTSD from the fools who reload canceled the thing like crazy…a sniper rifle that now has the speed of a scout…eliminating the “git gud” factor of compensating for the extra time it took to reload the bolt action 🤨

I hated this gun I never had it but it was quite literally almost the only thing that annoyed me in crucible like even going back to D1 a couple months ago I still saw people using it I have a hiatus against that gun and in d2 I have a hiatus against Jötuun that shit is just fucking annoying easy to counter yea but it still sucks when you get caught off guard and you see that fire ball coming for your toes
they should bring it back, literally a trash gun made just for fun and laughs, assuming players dont find a way to exploit it. the perks were just basically whats now vorpal weapon and kinetic dmg.

the pvp aspect of d1 is better and didn't have stasis so pretty much automatically better but regardless the maps were amazing
