It'd be neat to see No Land Beyond come back. I'd i interested to see how they'd change it though, cause kinetic snipers aren't anything that special anymore. It would need a bit of new spice to make it not be practically irrelevant right out of the gate.
If it keeps the same damage then this sniper would be op asf and we don’t need anymore unbalanced weapons but if they made the headshot damage like 150-170 and the body shot like 70 in could see it being balanced
Nah just make it have primary ammo. Start at a 72 Rlm with the damage of a 140 rpm, then once you get the perk to prot, it acts as a normal 72 and the perk lasts til next kill with the gun.
How are primary snipers nothing special? There is no primary sniper that doesn't need special ammo. If you had a sniper with primary ammo, it would be extremely special. As long as you reduce the aim assist a lot, it would be a high skill weapon. I mean it's not the same as a grenade launcher or shotgun with primary ammo, which would be broken.
@@daniel96jg The only reasons it was ever anything special was because it used primary ammo (as well as the reload glitch but they'd patch that if they brought it back.) Outside of that it was just objectively worse than any well rolled legendary sniper for pvp. It only really thrived because of the special ammo changes towards the end of D1's lifetime making it the only sniper you could consistently use throughout the course of a match, (aside from Ice Breaker of course.) Even if it still uses primary ammo its going to be outperformed by other kinetic snipers like The Supremacy and Bite of the Fox in pretty much all aspects. That is unless they either give it something to boost its performance beyond that, and/or make adjustments to legendary snipers in general. Unless that'll happen it will just be a novelty like it was before the D1 special ammo changes.
Only use soft ballistics on this weapon. These are the aim assist values for the ballistic options on the No Land Beyond: CQB: 0 Soft: +10 Accurized: -10
I'm devastated they said this won't come to D2. I'm holding out hope that only refers to NLB taking primary ammo (which is what they specified would break special ammo economy). The 5 years we've gone without it already has been pain enough!
Got mine off of Crota and went straight to crucible. Raid team laughed thinking it was a crap weapon, but no I was over the moon with getting it. Still my favourite exotic beside OG Queenbreakers bow

I played NLB with Last Hope, I preferred the burst sidearm, with a trigger it is more generous to body shots than wormwood, Idk if anyone else can relate but that was the situation.
This reason in particular is why I both want and don’t want Icebreaker back. It was the only gun people used in their secondary slot half the time but it was also just so versatile.
