We know some Legendary Guardians.. but do you know the feats they've pulled off? Today we discuss a select few of these Legendary characters and how they impact the story of Destiny. There of course are others, here are around 5. Let me know your favorite Guardian stories in the comments below!
Man this just reminds that we need SRL back…and the quest that comes with it needs to give an exotic sparrow *that needs to be the same speed as the raid sparrow* so that on release all is fair
I love the story of dredged yor I also like tales about the the iron lords
what about Ariadne; or what about Ana Bray’s feats during the Twilight Gap (where can the fire from her gun be found in-game?) and what of the other Bray’s we haven’t heard much about..??

It was a ghost actually. For anyone who doesn't know, its a lorepiece in the Ghost Stories lore book and its really funny and well worth the read
Eriana-3, died seeking vengeance for her lost love
Kabr and Praedyth, lost to time in the vault of glass.
Towland, a part of the fireteam that failed to stop Crotas, his voice still whispers in the ascended plane.
Omar Agah, guardian thought lost who light now turned into a powerful weapon.

I'd love to hear more of these legends. I'd especially love to hear any tales of Drifter. Find it kinda hard to believe the oldest currently known Lightbearer wouldn't have some stories from the Dark Age considering all of his fancy toys he has.
That man has whole Lore books, but if you want a basic summary, Ishtar Collective has a category for him which gives a basic overview of his history, linked to the relevant entries.
However, for me, the best piece of Lore about the Drifter is on the Opulent Scholar Boots from Season of Opulence. It's marvelously messed up.
He has stories just doesn't really like talking about them
There are whole armor sets, weapons, lore books, and I think other gear containing Drifter's stories. The Man with no Name is one of the lore books dedicated to him. Very good read

Theres probably plenty I'm leaving out. Still a lot of reading material. Keep in mind theres also dialogue, mentions, missions, and story campaigns based on the Drifter. If you want more to read, I would suggest taking a look at the Season of Opulence gear and the Joker's Wild (Season of The Drifter) gear

You forgot to mention that Shin Malphur was one of the first Guardians recorded to use the Golden Gun. Some believe he invented it, but he says he didn't.
I like to think Jaren Ward created it. Shin perfected it

@@knalb_ it's also the Hawkmoon shape when using the Precision variant. It's all about what the user feels more connected to in their hand. Not all Guardians can hammer-fan the golden gun like we can, and not everyone is a marksmanship like Efrideet. *Cough* people that missed with Nighthawk
I wish you mentioned Cyrell the ghost killer. His story is interesting, and pairs with Micah-10’s story
With Witch Queen introducing Hive ghosts and Hive Guardians, I feel like we may need to give Shin, Lord Saladin, and Shaxx a call, they seem the most experienced with killing ghosts.

@@sylokthedefiled Maybe. Bungie would need to find a voice actor that’d be fitting, and have artists and animators work on the character. I’d be surprised if Shin didn’t go to Europa to learn how to wield stasis. As we learned, Shin has the same “grey” mindset on light and dark as Elsie, Drifter and Eris do. I’d love to read more lore about him and his reaction on the Darkness coming back as well as Guardians wielding darkness.

Shayura really has some sad lore. A story about trauma and delusion
She has been my favorite character.
We’ve slain Gods, Kings, soon a Queen if she doesn’t quit messing around, Gigantic world/city ending ships, and bonded/allied with our old enemies you think Queen Sav would be scared af rn. I think we are pretty legendary ourselves don’t forget us
we are considered the most legendary guardian, thats why they send us on the raids bc nobody else could do it but us.

Yet they still can only call us "guardian" and our character is too shy to say more than one sentence per dlc...
@@DarkStarGames. we’re all technically playing from the same Destiny’s guardian’s perspective. Like how everyone sees and knows us in the destiny universe. So nah, just one legendary guardian really. Other guardians you play with can be seen as random assisties like you said I would guess. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong)
In lore we never did any of those things ourselves. We’ve always had a fire team

Man I'll never forgive Bungie for wiping out the entire Sunbreaker Order and completely forget about them. When i heard Mercury was coming to D2 as DLC in CoO i thought we'd get a strike to be able to reclaim the Sunbreaker's home from the Cabal that exterminated them.

I wish they could bring it back as an rotating event like trials ore iron Banner. I wanna see again how guardians crashes with the forklift 😂
The way we saw Saint -14 through the eyes of the fallen ( spoken from Mithrax) made me appreciate the story immersion.
There is a warlock sunsinger where she took out an entire hive horde by herself by self reviving but died in her last life cant remember the name tho

I would LOVE for a Human/Guardian season. By that I mean things we would tackle inside our city or like hunting guardians or neutralizing dark or anti light or evil human/guardian factions that are bad. Maybe like a civil war inside the city or not inside but like evil humans or guardians doing bad shit

- she was held high regard from Saint- 14
- smacked andal brask so hard in the back he died and had to be rezzed
- was close to Micah-10, a member of the Six Coyotes.
- she died fighting an Ahamkara
- Tyranny of Heaven is her bow, drops from Last Wish
Seeing these cutscenes again, I loved that Ikora going up to nuke the Thresher and Saint-14s intro was epic AF.
Also, PLEASE GIVE ME BACK THE SIX COYOTES EXOTIC CLOAK BUNGIE!
Ever notice how little legendary hunters there are. Off the top of my head I can only think of Cayde-6, Anne Bray and Shin Malfur

I only know 3 legendary titans and like 2 legendary warlocks.
Jaren ward is a prime example many legendary guardians are deeply rooted in lore
My favorite is probably the risen mentioned in the lore piece of the Raiju's Harness exotic, a hunter chest piece. This risen climed the highest mountain during a thunder storm, leaped off of its peak reaching more height, and basked in a tremendous lightning bolt cast by their arc light. A good short read very imaginitive
The Six Coyotes are definately my favourite Guardian Legends. There are so few Hunter Legends from long ago, all we really have are the Coyotes and Shin Malphur.

Eris is a hunter + theres also a rising legend, The Crow
Zavala apparently received so much Light from the Traveler in an alternate timeline of the Infinite Forest that he was able to Thundercrash the moon into pieces.

The even more badass part of Saint 14 is that our GUARDIAN set Saint's path to become the "Most powerful Titan Ever Lived."

I'm definitely going to look into the Sparrow Racing League lore more, sounds interesting and something I'd like to see since I wasn't around in D1 days to have experienced the eent.
Tahlulla Fairwind and chalco swiftriver need more lore about themselves love to know more about previous hunter vanguards

some few Lore texts of that same Damned Day 4+ Years ago gave more Lore detail about her held back capability among the [Light]'s. even if it was already nice-seeing Guardian-characters like her in action beyond the Gameplay 'balancing'.
but the Lore describes it even better. Until those Blasted Cabal Temporarily 'blocked' 'our' advantages that Day.... (05:37).

Eeeeee there's so many random Lore Guardians I would love to see come back (or be talked about) in some capacity -
Like, WEI NING. Saint-14 claims to have been called the "greatest Titan" in his trailer, but that's just 'cause someone forgot to look down at the "last and surest argument" on his gauntlet, a Titan tradition starting from Wei Ning. It feels like she's been eclipsed some by Eriana-3 and Eris's grief over her death, but Wei Ning promised to punch the darkness. She punched a mountain and moved it, and she made the Fighting Lion for punching foes at a distance. She was overjoyed to meet the Cabal because "finally someone good to fight." All of her lore just bursts with infectious energy.
Other Titans of note: Holborn, of the 12-pointed star, who headed the City's spearhead on Mars with 11 other Guardians (one for each point of the star); Thalor, the Champion of Crucible until Dredgen Yor flat out *murdered him* with Thorn; Ouros, head of the Sunbreaker Titans and badass merc; and of course we need to pour one out for poor Vell Tarlowe, the only Titan on Eris's Doomed Fireteam and the first to die, buried by Thrall.
I could do one of these for every class ^^;; I adore seeing which Guardian NPCs Bungie plays with and gives stories to.

Shaxx is technically a Warlord. Not a Guardian. Hence why he isnt on list.

Called Osiris a menace with the subclasses 😂. I couldn’t help but laugh at that but I guess we can see where Ikora gets it from y’know being able to pop 2 supers within 30 seconds of each other.

I love shinobu. She’s alittle like crow, where she knew nadiya, Therin, and Lee when she was mortal, and then the fallen like slaughtered her village(cyote) or something like that. A few days later, she came back as a risen.
The shinobu’s vow and sixth cyote lore has some bits on it.

Evade, how about a video about lesser known factions. Such as Sunbreakers or the Hidden or the disciples of Osiris and such. Most vets might know them but with the areas gone, new lights won't learn about them

The main thing that Evade listed that disappointed me with D2 is when cosmodrome was reintroduced they didn't bring in the Six Coyotes or at least three(one of each class for new lights when they are resurrected) to the game.

God watching saint’s cutscene helps with sleep dept from mice
i didnt know there was audio of Callum (whom i think is Yor") and "Unkown Guardian" (whom i think is Shin) and the 3 shots that followed.
but then again Shin killed Yor with only 2 and before you say "Oh but he shot Yor's ghost and *then* used the other 2 shots on Yor" (even tho theres only one shot hole in the burnt "cast" of this Dredgen or possibly Yor) Yor actually killed his own ghost and we have lore tabs to prove this (i think so anyways correct me if im wrong). Also the fact that the ghost's shell would have dissapeared in flames if he got shot with a golden gun
so maybe this "Callum" is a Dredgen and this "Unkown Guardian" just conveniently had a Golden Gun
But hey, thats just a theory; AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA GAAAAAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THEORY

if many more were like an Osiris to 11....one Lightbearer Guardian manifesting a million [Reflections] of their own selves, out of Hundreds of Thousand fellow Lightbearer Guardians doing the same trained technique....
