Exactly. As Lord Michael Heseltine described it, the older population voted to destroy the future of the younger population and he thought that was unforgivable. Our being out of the EU is only a temporary thing. We will end up back in one way or another.

They didn't trade in forex. They didn't didn't own stocks and shares. They never had any skin in any game that got affected. You have a lot to learn in life and you're fine that being part of a big trading block is nothing more than beneficial to us to everyone that's in it sovereignty is questionable, especially for me as I am Welsh we've never had a sovereignty so shouldn't we have a referendum whether to stay in the UK? Which by the way is a union just like what the EU is but like the EU we don't actually have our own destiny in our hands as we can't have a referendum to leave. Brexit has failed to deliver what they promised. And can never deliver what they promised. Avoiding asking people about returning to the EU is undemocratic. People are meant to be in control - we've left. The policy failed. We need a choice whether to join again.

We’ve been out of the EU for 3 years. And amongst that we’ve had a pandemic and a war in Europe.
Brexit’s benefits are full sovereignty over our borders, law making and trade policy.
All of those things literally take years of governmental time to be conceived, drafted, put into effect and then most importantly, time to measure the effects.
This is like thinking a new prime minister or president’s effects immediately stop when they leave office, no, they last and take time undue. No different here when it comes to this.

Lord Michael Heseltine described Brexit as the older generation voting to destroy the future of the younger generation. He said it was unforgivable and it would ultimately destroy the Tory Party. It's all coming to fruition piece by piece. Among under 50s the Tories are barely polling 10% of the vote, that's electoral extinction facing the Tories right there.

Leaving the EU is signed into British Law. We are a democracy, As a democracy we voted to come out of the EU 🗳 That is why we are out.

One thing is, that now 18 to 25 year olds take more notice of politics. Perhaps they will vote in future.
We need to reverse Brexit. But it will take time. And we need to meet the Copenhagen criteria before thinking of applying to rejoin.

Maybe 90% of 18 to 25 year olds can’t cope with the result of a democratic vote put to the people. It was the people who decided it, the majority of MPs didn’t even want it. Why should we reverse it. It is MORE democratic to have a referendum than it is to vote for representatives in parliament.

And I was pro leave don't get me wrong I just don't think it's going to work for the future.

If we said the average life expectancy in UK is 80 years, and this video claims 90% of 18-25 year olds would vote to rejoin EU, that's only 9% of the population. So what's actually being claimed here is: Fewer than 1 in 10 people would vote to rejoin EU

why would it need a referendum? Referendums are not legally binding and are inherently stupid as Brexit has shown. Yeah lets let people vote on a policy while completely ignoring the cost of that policy. Yeah that seems sensible
@@trickslies844 You’re howling at the moon. Whether referendums are ‘good’ or ‘bad’, doesn’t matter. We’ve had two ref’s already on this question - one put us in the EU, the other out of the EU. And the results of said referendums then became law.
You think that any government is going to unilaterally just put us back in the EU? Perhaps only if a party campaigns on re-joining the EU and wins a decent majority.

The choice to put it in to law was just parliament doing its job, it had nothing to do with the actual referendum. None of that means another referendum is needed.
Yes obviously any party wanting to take us back in to the EU would need to run a election campaign on it. Thats so obvious it really shouldn't need mentioning because it would have to do so regardless of there being a referendum or not. Only a election has a democratic mandate.
