Tarpon 100
The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 is a versatile sit-on-top that offers stunning performance for surf play, ponds, lakes, and bays. The Tarpon 100 features Phase 3 AirPro seating system that adds comfort and easy adjustability. An exceptionally large rear bungee tankwell allows for storage of any gear needed for long hauls while the two hatches provide dry storage below the deck. The Tarpon 100 kayak is known for offering excellent glide and maneuverability, and great versatility for its trim size.
Tarpon 120
The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 is the most popular Tarpon ever. The Tarpon 120 is a versatile sit-on-top that offers stunning performance for surf play, ponds, lakes, and bays. The Phase 3 AirPro seating system adds comfort and easy adjustability. An exceptionally large rear bungee tankwell allows for storage of any gear needed for long hauls while the two hatches provide dry storage below the deck. For 2015, the footbraces have been upgraded to the Keepers XL system which offers a larger trigger and adds 5" of rail length. The Tarpon 120 kayak is known for offering excellent glide and maneuverability, and great versatility for its trim size.
Tarpon 140
The new Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 kayak delivers improved speed, better glide, and even more storage than its smaller counterparts. The Phase 3 AirPro seating system adds comfort and easy adjustability. For 2015, the Tarpon 140 features the Keepers XL footbraces which offer larger triggers and adds 5" of rail. The hull and deck have been fine tuned to offer increased performance while still maintaining the stability to stand and cast from the flat floored seating area. This well rounded sit-on-top is capable of adapting to a variety of water conditions by combining small kayak maneuverability with large kayak speed.
Tarpon 160
The Tarpon 160 kayak is the ultimate destination kayak. Because it is longer and narrower, the Tarpon 160 boasts more capacity and even greater speed and acceleration than the other Tarpon kayaks. For 2015, the footbraces have been upgraded to the Keepers XL featuring a larger trigger and an added 5" of rail. The Phase 3 AirPro seating system adds comfort and easy adjustability. While it features all the traditional rigging to bring in and haul away "the big one", the 160 includes the Slide Trax accessory system for virtually limitless angling options.

if they make the bigger hatch closer to between legs, that'll make it a much better fishing platform, that way you can pack up your fishing gears or big fish catch while on the water. I guess I'm too late to say that because Stealth kayak already did it.

Hello dear, if I had to choose between a Wilderness Tarpon 100 or a Wilderness Rider for a sea with powerful waves, which one would you choose? I am looking for stability especially for fishing in oceans and rivers. Thank you!

How does the Ride series compare to Tarpon ? Is the Ride an upgrade ?

Hi Bob! Thanks for watching. The Ride is going to be a step up from the Tarpon line, especially if you are looking to fish. The Ride is going to be more stable and have a higher capacity, but will also be heavier than its Tarpon counterpart. We'll add the Ride to the list for a video. Stay Tuned!
