How to Rooftop Load Tour Kayak w/ ThatBassFishingDude

- Have trouble loading your kayak onto the roof of your vehicle? We’ve all been there and generally takes a few times before you find the best way for you to load it.
I was hanging out with @_thatbassfishingdude_ other day on Town Lake and watched him use this method to load the boat. I was impressed with how he was able to throw a Big Fish 120 on the roof of his lifted truck with ease.
This could be great for people who struggle with solo-loading their boats or those that want to get a different, heavier boat but are worried about how to get it to and from the water.

Thank you! I really hope I can utilize this simple system to lift the 3 person 13.5’ kayak onto my dodge grand caravan by myself. The kayak is like 80lbs, and I’m only 5’2 (and a weakling).

Looks easy when a 7 foot guy in shape does it. Your height and strength make a difference. I guarantee during the learning curve YOU WILL damage the paint job on top of your vehicle. Your still maneuvering 70 lbs over your head.
im a 5ft weakling and i get my kayak on my roof no scratches and it looks just as easy as it does in this video. no damage to the paint on any part of my vehicle and no straining or injuries to my body. it really is easy when you use your brain.
