There is a new system in UA-cam, the Chapters. If you put the timestamps in the description, it will separate the play bar into chapters that will say what they are when hovered over. I think you need to put a timestamp for 0:00 as well but I'm not sure
I actually did some hands on work to truly compare these two the SB2C Helldiver, and the SBD Dauntless (Mcclusky Division) Aircraft gear. Over the course of the past few days ive used the same carrier with the same equipment on the same boss stage (b3 Jean Bart) With the same vanguard escort. The reason I chose jean bart is to be capable of seeing the pure damage of each aircraft without the ability of the Dauntless's getting mixed in. And the results are: SB2C Helldiver- Average Finish time of "2:01" on the clock so 59 seconds to win. Average damage per boss fight of 34,184. Amount of damage done with first Airstrike - brings the boss down to on average 23 1/4 health from 50. SBD Dauntless (McClusky Division) Average finish time of "1:57" or 1 minute 3 seconds to finish the boss. Average Damage per boss fight- 34,719. And the damage per first Airstrike on average 28 1/6 health bars, or dealing about 22 health bars of damage on the first Airstrike. the actual amount of damage between these two is really weird and the averages of the points I graphed show a completely different picture from what it actually is. For example the Dauntless did significantly more damage on first Airstrike 5 different times, almost one Striking the boss, but in the end had an average first strike damage lower than the SB2C Helldiver. I actually prefer the Dauntless even though the damage isnt as consistant, thus why the average damage was lower, the damage by the Dauntless seems to be higher if you can get lucky, plus the skill. Of course the SB2C is still much easier to get, thus I would still recommend it over the Dauntless to anyone who is new to the game. Choose whichever you wish I just wanted to give a good chart of the difference between the two with actual battles instead of just looking at the numbers.

Lovely ship. Some info on her "Artillery Cover", I guess: Saratoga was the second ship of the Lexington class Battlecruisers which were converted into carriers due to the Washington Naval Treaty (same as Akagi and Kaga for Japan and Glorious and Couragous for Britain). This meant that they were some of the first large carriers and large they were. Arguably the most powerful out of the Washington carrier conversions, they were still part of the infancy of carrier operations. As such they were used to test out many concepts and ideas their design was affected by some of those interesting ideas. It was decided that a carrier would need a heavy secondary battery to defend itself, should it be attacked by a surface gunship and not everyone was convinced that naval aviation was going to be as effective as some people were hoping. For that purpse, both Lexington and Saratoga received four turrets with two 8" (203mm) guns each. That is the same caliber of gun as can be found on Heavy Cruisers. Ships like the Counties, Prinz Eugen, Takao, Baltimore and many more ships familiar to AL players used exactly such 8" guns. So in a way, you could see Saratoga as basically carrying something like a Kent or Prinz Eugen at her side at all times, as those had the same main armament of eight 203mm guns in four turrets. As technology advanced and naval aircraft became ever more capable, it was decided that these were no longer needed in 1940. Instead they were to be replaced with the excellent 5"/38 (127mm) in twin dual-purpose mounts. Lexington had her 8" turrets removed, but didn't receive her 5" DP guns at the time and was meant to receive them at a later date. That never happened as she was sunk in the Battle of the Coral Sea in an engagement against the carriers Shoukaku and Zuikaku. Saratoga was hit by a torpedo from a Japanese submarine and had to go into repair in early 1942. Whilst she was being repaired those changes were applied and her 8" guns were swapped out for the 5" DP guns. So in an interesting way, it would be much more accurate if Saratoga's retrofit in-game, actually removed her Artillery Cover skill, or swapped it out for some kind of AA skill. That would more closely simulate what was changed during her actual "retrofit". But basically, she has that interesting skill because for the majority of her life, she carried a gun armament that was heavier or equal to most cruisers.

I actually use two BTD-1 Destroyers on my Saratoga Retrofit, the loss of bombs isn’t that bad and you get 2 fairly large bombs which makes them great for boss wiping. Boosting her AVI stat even further is kinda ridiculous, having 423+295 for a total of 718 AVI stat(minus tech buffs) basically means she wrecks house, as the damage of Witch’s prank is based upon her AVI stat and having a higher AVI stat boosts the aircraft damage in general, TBH worth the slight loss of versatility in bomb load that results from using that aircraft.
I love Sara, got her to lvl 120 asap and retrofitted with no regrets. Her fire support skill does good damage even against high level mobs but unfortunately the spread is very RNG dependent, it can hit all the 6 shelss or miss completely. Also ALL her skins are insanely cute, dear Lord.
Used your link for Bluestacks when my tablet died. Playing AL on PC is just... weird. I'm glad I got a new device to play on again, feels much better. But atleast you got your money I hope :). Downsides of Essex and Formidable are their eventstatus. Having played half-a-year I got neither. Centaur, Enty and Saratoga however are there always year-round, waiting to be loved. +100AVI isn't +100% damage. The baguette returns in Skybound Oratorio. Though people say it also got a great CA gun so you need to split attention. Still, if you miss 1 or 2 or so there's no harm going for it that event.

It would be amazing if you could make a video or videos where you explain which are the best equipments and why. Kind like a tiermaker, so we can know which equiments are Top quality and which ones an be used instead if you dont have thw best ones. Explain the different characteristics of each like firing patern, ammo type, which ships can benefit the most from each. Like this CL gun is better for secondary in a BB and this other CL gun is better for CLs main gun. That gun fires AP and (insert ship name1) benefits the most from it, while this gun fires HE and (insert ship name2) benefits the most from that. And so on and so on. In my experience, you can use 831 Squad Barracuda on 2nd dive bomber setup so you can get a armor break chance which is useful in both pve and pvp aspect, although she can lose damage a bit in dive bombing but doesn't matter since you already have artillery cover and witch prank to cover it up.

Unpopular opinion: I believe that North Carolina is OP AF.At Max level with both white and black aux equipment maxed,she reaches 760.15 FP (make sure you have that purple DD AP Gun eqquiped om her (10FP+15AA).If I compare her FP to Warspite Kai,they only have a 27.35 FP Difference!(Warspite reaches 787.5 FP maxed out with all her equipment as well). She has a SOLID 400 AA,and she also protects your back line from AA DMG by 15%.....it wouldn't surprise me if in the near future they bring out a retrofit on her,it will be DOPE.
Torpedo Bomber's actual advantage over Dive Bombers aren't accuracy. In fact, you're more likely to hit with Dive Bombers since your targets have less time to dodge. What torpedo bombers do have a lot of over dive bombers is their touch down damage when they pass the edge of the screen, this is why double torpedo bomber loadouts are best for Bosses, since they are able to deal much more focus fire, but Dive Bombers do a lot more wave clear and is faster at damaging enemiesm
I think the true reason why she got nuked in Operation Crossroad was because she pulled one too many prank and did so on the wrong person, hence her "punishment". Only execution that even rivals this was the Bright execution used on Hathaway on that Gundam spin off novel that is going to be animated.
Well She is my 1st lv 120 and she wipes screen fast when clearing the map...i just use her in pvp as a Filler for the backline since some of my primary PvP ships are still under lvled..
If your cheap-as$ poor with some gear i reccomend Seafang+2HellDivers or Hellcat+2Helldivers And the auxilliary i reccomend just 2 Steam catapults but if your so afraid of aircrafts dying just put 1 of there the Oil tank thing
I want someone to do a guide on ark royal because she very good. 2 torp bomber slots w/ 140% efficiency and 1 dive bomber slot w/ 80% efficiency (when fully limit broken) . When fully lb she pretty much launch a tsunami of torpedoes + the dive bombers. 2 very good skills, swordfishes,strike! and assault carrier. You can go w/ barracudas and helldivers and she's quite devastating (that's what I have) and she also have pretty good stats. So yeah very good if you ask me.
She's worth it. If you have any of the other T0 carriers already (Essex, Centaur, Formidable, Enterprise), she can be less of a priority, but she will always be a good investment.

@@brokenlegend1179 laffey retro is fucking badass on the battlefeild and well the cutest and most badass looking retro around. Shes my 3rd best van. Ship rn. Other very good retros i have used b4 that i know wud be good for newbies is, the other 3 starters, portland, helena, cygnet/comet/cresent, ranger, long island, shohou. There r others but i forget them offhand. All the starters r very very good, all top teir, aspecially laffey and ayanami. Portland retro is one of the best ca in the game, and is easy to get. Ranger retro is the best common cv, has the highest potential dmg in the game being twice infinite. Cygnet and cresent r identical gameplay wise, only difference is there appearance and skins. Comet is slightly weaker but just as good and slightly more useful in a pure dd vangaurd. All 3 r strong enuf at maxed out to take on ch12-4 on auto. I personally only ever used cresent and comet and when lv 110 dropped they were the first 2 shipfus i got to lv105. Laffey being 3rd. Helena b4 retro was 1 of if not the best cl in the game and her retro makes her even better. Shohou is similarly good to unicorn and both r excellent support carriers. Unicorn and shohou r often used in cheap oil cost farming fleets cuz there dmg is suffiecent against low and med lv enemies while keeping ur van. So high on hp during a sortie they r almost unkillable.
I dont have the corsair plane or watever it is called from core data shop yet so i have always juat used the hellcat i think it was called, i forget now. I dont bother to f around with my ships gear if they r working good enuf for me, so i havent looked at some of my ships gear in a few months.

Soryuu + Hiryuu mediocre in pve so I dont rly recommend using them, maybe in early game when u hav no access to better cv. Pvp is different tho as Hiryuu is rly good there (u dont need Soryuu with her). Plus, you'd rly want to hav at least 1 bb in your flt(preferably in the mid) to take care of the suicide boats.
@@katrinabartolay3288 as i agree with u. I want to add to ur statement. In early game ALL ships r good but the bad ships fall short in late-game. Souryuu and hiryuu r shit in pve, but hiryuu retro is top tier in pvp. Souryuu is shit against any high lv enemy pvp or pve. After ch9 the less good ships will start to fail u when u need them the most. When u get to ch11 things go to hell for ur weak ships. Only mediocre - best shipfus can make it past ch11-1 reliably.
But cmon let's be real... the most satisfying thing is seeing those bombers go over the enemy and just wipe all the ships off the face of the earth (Save the boss) And Helena > St. Louis
There will be the weird purple and black circle above the enemy's head, just like if they were slowed by the Gold Swordfish or affected by Helena's skill

Nice Video. Saratoga was one of my First ships i retrofittet and one of my go to ships if I Need Destruction with lower oil cost.

My Sara is almost 120. Definitely while Enterprise drops death on bosses, Sara clears maps. Gonna build a few Carrier heavy fleets.

Well She is my 1st lv 120 and she wipes screen fast when clearing the map...i just use her in pvp as a Filler for the backline since some of my primary PvP ships are still under lvled..

I want someone to do a guide on ark royal because she very good. 2 torp bomber slots w/ 140% efficiency and 1 dive bomber slot w/ 80% efficiency (when fully limit broken) . When fully lb she pretty much launch a tsunami of torpedoes + the dive bombers. 2 very good skills, swordfishes,strike! and assault carrier. You can go w/ barracudas and helldivers and she's quite devastating (that's what I have) and she also have pretty good stats. So yeah very good if you ask me.
Is sarotoga worth it?
She's worth it. If you have any of the other T0 carriers already (Essex, Centaur, Formidable, Enterprise), she can be less of a priority, but she will always be a good investment.

the best (and most expensive) retro is San Diego. You joined at a perfec time since they're about to rerun her retrofit item. Make sure to get it.

@@brokenlegend1179 laffey retro is fucking badass on the battlefeild and well the cutest and most badass looking retro around. Shes my 3rd best van. Ship rn. Other very good retros i have used b4 that i know wud be good for newbies is, the other 3 starters, portland, helena, cygnet/comet/cresent, ranger, long island, shohou. There r others but i forget them offhand. All the starters r very very good, all top teir, aspecially laffey and ayanami. Portland retro is one of the best ca in the game, and is easy to get. Ranger retro is the best common cv, has the highest potential dmg in the game being twice infinite. Cygnet and cresent r identical gameplay wise, only difference is there appearance and skins. Comet is slightly weaker but just as good and slightly more useful in a pure dd vangaurd. All 3 r strong enuf at maxed out to take on ch12-4 on auto. I personally only ever used cresent and comet and when lv 110 dropped they were the first 2 shipfus i got to lv105. Laffey being 3rd. Helena b4 retro was 1 of if not the best cl in the game and her retro makes her even better. Shohou is similarly good to unicorn and both r excellent support carriers. Unicorn and shohou r often used in cheap oil cost farming fleets cuz there dmg is suffiecent against low and med lv enemies while keeping ur van. So high on hp during a sortie they r almost unkillable.

Half of them have one gun that only really works for their skills. I have the Purple NP DD gun on Tash and she spews death on light armor

I could try to, but I tend to mess up a lot when I talk faster. If I talk too slow, I'd recommend speeding up the video to something like 1.25x

Soryuu + Hiryuu mediocre in pve so I dont rly recommend using them, maybe in early game when u hav no access to better cv. Pvp is different tho as Hiryuu is rly good there (u dont need Soryuu with her). Plus, you'd rly want to hav at least 1 bb in your flt(preferably in the mid) to take care of the suicide boats.
@@katrinabartolay3288 as i agree with u. I want to add to ur statement. In early game ALL ships r good but the bad ships fall short in late-game. Souryuu and hiryuu r shit in pve, but hiryuu retro is top tier in pvp. Souryuu is shit against any high lv enemy pvp or pve. After ch9 the less good ships will start to fail u when u need them the most. When u get to ch11 things go to hell for ur weak ships. Only mediocre - best shipfus can make it past ch11-1 reliably.

There will be the weird purple and black circle above the enemy's head, just like if they were slowed by the Gold Swordfish or affected by Helena's skill
