I might’ve came on at like the end (all games and songs were claimed at that point) but still
On the front of Built to Scale, it's funny, we originally made all the textures using dolphin's texture replacement which *did* reuse the textures, but we found out too late that they were indeed separate in the files, at like, the literal last second and we didn't want to make more
we also thought about customizing the sound effects but the ability to edit those was found out similarly late into development haha
we were going to do a megamix repaint but interest in it kinda died out after a while. we do still have a lot of stuff we made for it
I contributed like exactly 1 or 2 things iirc, but it still brings back a lot of nostalgia to the time when I was on the team

I'm only at 1:15:15 but I have something to say : Remix 3 reuses the Guy Fieri pizza stuff for Built To Scale because it shares its textures with the main game so they couldn't change it specifically for Remix 3, this is why the background is Strong Bad saying that he personaly can't stand shared texturing
I'm assuming the same is true for Remix 6 Launch Party and the textures on the Steam Market

Also funny you mentioned Strive’s character designs as overcrowded cause those are relatively RESTRAINED compared to other anime games. Compared to Blazblue or the average gacha game, Strive’s designs are tastefully straightforward. It’s wild out there.

It’s super weird to know that Grayfruit has now played a game that I somewhat had a hand in making (in particular I did the graphics for Sneaky Spirits. They’re very rushed and bad.)
Also now that I’ve since become a mashup/remix producer, the fact that at least 80% of the mashups in this project are offkey makes me unexplainably angry

@@saladplainzone it's atleast a sign you've improved since then, and i'm trying my own hand at mashup creation now and i'd partly have to thank RH Repainted for that (as well as people like Chongo Show, and BilvaMunner for their amazing sounding [to me] mashups of their own for RH) so even if looking back and noticing all the offkey bits or make ya angry just means you've improved in your craft since : D

Mr. Fruit decides to relax a little at 1:38. The stresses of life can really get you down, especially when it seems work is simply spinning its gears, but it's times like these that makes you happy to be alive. Simply sitting down in a cafe on some faux leather couch, waiting for a nice cup of coffee with a light salad, all the while some funky tunes play surrounding the room with some top-notch ambiance alongside the barista.
Yes sir, life can be tough but it just makes the check-points even more enjoyable. The feelings of burn-out will pass soon enough, just as long as you give yourself some TLC every once and awhile. Hopefully no memery will go down, and he can just enjoy some good old plain Rhythm Heaven Fever...

Why do you bother to write that you didn't have the time to read something? Can't you just not read it, then move on with your life? As the time it would have taken to read this very short piece of writing, is probably about the same amount of time necessary to actual read it.
Is you not reading it meant to be some kind of thing of pride? I genuinely don't understand this, like are you proclaiming to the world that you didn't have the time to read something? Is it a declaration of not caring?
Please I genuinely want to know why the hell people bother to do this, especially for something as small as this.

@@tecnation0 You don't have to read it in any capacity. The timestamp is meant to get you to the action sooner, and I just enjoy doing some quick writing practice to match the feel for the stream. I've just always been baffled by the 'TLDR' comment on many levels.

Apparently this the phrase used to make the robot bodyguard gort stand down in the 1951 movie “the day the earth stood still”.
The phrase is referenced as the spell needed to take the necronomicon in the 1992 movie “army of darkness”, but Ashley williams (played by Bruce Campbell) forgets the last word and coughs instead.
Also at 21:01 the text is the opening of the bee movie script flipped horizontally and vertically, it also shows up when they explode.
Finally, Gray has come so far as a Rhythm Heaven fan
5 years later, and I think this is still my favorite of the Games Repainted mods 😄

It's definitely the most creative, with how Rhythm Heaven is they had an opportunity to change *everything* with the 2d assets and music

Some of the aged stuff works well. I think the Leafy Love Rap is hilarious. But also, fuckin hell, you would never ever see Jontron or maybe Buff Riku in this if it were made today, for very good reasons.

I would absolutely adore a Kirby month, being a lifelong Kirby fan myself. However, I could definitely see it get tiring playing them all back to back, so I'd definitely have some break days here and there.
playing rhythm heaven fever multiplayer by yourself kind of feels like playing a mario and luigi game a lot of the times you can just press the same thing on both buttons and be fine

You can mouth off about Dragon Ball fans for being annoying, it's true. But DBZ was massively influential for a reason. Before it became an exponential growth simulator, it was a dramatic story about some idiot who's obsessed with fighting people. Seeing him evolve to beat the bad guys was really satisfying to a lot of people. Overly Sarcastic Productions did an episode on the OG Super Saiyan transformation and how well designed it was as a MacGuffin.

The Don Patches explode into this at the end of the minigame. I know some people probably already know this, but just in case there were a few people still wondering.

I'm pretty sure the reason he got the shrug for victory text so much isn't because the repainters were lazy but because it replaces "Eh, good enough." which just shows up often when getting an OK.
The joke with fork lifter is that the symbols are uhh, diff output markings for adding and removing code, which is how you manage computer forks.

The background song added in hole in one (in rhfr) was a McDonald’s promotional item where when you bought a meal you would get a cd then when you played the cd, it would show a McDonald’s employee singing that song (most likely they will mess up) but if you get a disk of them singing the full song without messing up, you would win a prize (or something like that)

If Grey does check out the Kirby franchise, I hope he checks some of the modern titles- the 3ds duo especially are quite good. Also if he does a whole month I hope he tries to dive deep into the lore- it gets real fucking wacky in the later titles if you choose to dive deep in the pause screen lore, Star Allies especially.

I definitely suggest playing kirby superstar ultra, 64, return to dreamland, planet robobot, and lastly forgotten land, which I think would say are the best in the series, the others are great too, but if you play every single one they start to get a bit samey especially in the modern era pre-FL. Also make sure to pause for lore. It’s nuts.

i saw on the spreadsheet that you said "if i get a kick out of parappa 1, maybe i'll stream the sequel" and my advice to you is: start with the sequel. it's so much better in every way, it has a decent battle mode unlike lammy (although it's lacking the co-op mode), the songs are super based (not that they aren't in parap 1, but yk), the input detection is a lot better (although i haven't played the ps4 remaster so i wouldn't know on that front) and overall it's such a good game compared to the first one
