Based off your glowing review I’ve added another airbrush to the stash. But the multiple cups and nozzle sizes make it a versatile tool. Can’t wait to try it.
Nice video- I picked one up on Prime Day from the Barbatos Rex tip, haven't tried it yet but wanted to use it just like you show, happy to have a useful tool at a competitive price. Cheers!
Thanks Mike, picked up one delivered to the UK for less than £45! Have to saw very impressed with it so far! Question re your hair dryer please; how hot and fast are you using it? Sounds pretty fast fan speed? Medium heat? TVM
I was thinking of getting the " pistol trigger" version? to see how it goes. Would you have any feedback on that? Just started using mission paints moving away from lacquer paints after watching your videos! cheers
Interesting. I'm a numpty when it comes to airbrushes and had to buy another Neo last month. Wish I had seen this. Is it more like the pressure fit nozzle than the Iwata screw in type?
I'm using that word now lol... yes, it floats free and seals when the cover is screwed on. It's also much larger and easier for us to hold and clean etc. without the worry of stripping threads (hand raised from past discretions).
Jeez Coach, tell us what you really think! Got mine when they were introduced for $38- and got a spare 3 days later. Have always wanted a trigger type and the make one of those too!
Yes, 1-year and yes, complete part replacement offerings are available. They also offer 24-hr customer service, plus you're backed by Amazon under their policies too--all of my interactions with them they've been highly responsive, supporting what other reviews have also said.
@@rs.p thanks brother, I went ahead and ordered one, i have an airbrush addiction, this will be my tenth one….. I need help! Lol. Thank you for the reply.
Flows good but i have to constantly clean even on refilling same color of paint. That tip clogs up. Made well but i bought 2 of them and the triggers starts sticking and the flow starts coming out in spurts or dumps to much paint
Sounds like a paint mixing problem not an airbrush one. This is modeler error and you need to work on your thinning ratios and air pressures. If you want to give a break down of what you’re doing I can help.
You can, but I’m using this for general spraying work as I mention in the video. I have smaller .2mm for tighter work. Knowing how to spray fine lines is more about thinning, psi setting and distance. Most airbrushes can spray fine lines effectively, and working with those variables helps expand in their capabilities. Especially, if you have only one airbrush. Check out the review I put in the description, he showcases a broad range of talking points including demo-ing fine lines.
I've placed an order on Amazon for GHAC-98 last month, and guess what? they told me they can't ship it as it was prohibited by my country (Malaysia), which is absolutely BS, airbrush is definitely not prohibited in Malaysia, or anywhere around the world. I just donno why they did that to me.
I have been using two of the other models for a while now and 100% happy, I am nowhere near as experienced as you so very pleased you are so happy! Bob England
For me, no, because the fitting mates to the same used by Iwata, Tamiya, etc. Check yours to see if this product first your connectors, and if not then yes, you'll need a hose adapter.
FYI, I ordered mine yesterday and it should arrive by thursday. Got it for 44 euros (+/- 40ish dollars?). Looking forward to using it! Thanks for the tip coach 😉
Of course, check out the Mecha Dio playlist (specifically the CrabPod build)...I also showcase more in the world of handprinted Mecha models on my Patreon.
The expensive AB is the workhorse AB, that's the whole reason to get a good airbrush :D With the air channel nozzle, do they have 8 holes for the air to come out of that you have to align the channels with? if there's not multiple air outlets it doesn't do anything.
I've run "good" airbrushes for 20 years lol... these perform as well as. The air flows evenly from the 8-channels over the end of the main nozzle/needle opening, improving atomization, and in the month plus of spraying 3 different Gaahleri variants that bit of tech does a great job, if not better than my "good" airbrushes do.
@rs.p I ask because art workshop found trigger response is not that great so you you really mess up your artwork. Curious if your trigger response is as good as an Iwata CM/Creos PS771/270/289? H&S has trigger response issues that still are a bit noticeable even after I did the trigger fix. Absolute nightmare if you're trying to do something like a pupil on a tiny face.
You should target your complaint to that particular retailer because that is on them, not Gaahleri. They’re setting up their UK/EU international portals, as we speak--hang tight and let them catch up in order to provide international customers effectively. In addition, everyone’s aware, I’ve already inquired on this topic because my patrons updated me on Uk costs, plus this is all happening rapidly. That's not intentional on their part, something they're doing, nor part of their MO.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Currently, the sellers you see on Amazon UK are engaging in malicious resale and do not represent our official brand activities. Our official sales channels are only available in the United States and Canada. However, we are planning to launch our European and UK stores in September. Please stay tuned for updates and announcements.
Oh sorry for that, I assumed it was official store, it didn't say what retailer it was only the brand and all looked like official advertising. I picked up the iwata hp-cs but would love to give these a go as and when they are available in the uk
@@rskl3284 I completely understand your confusion, as the reseller completely copied our information and presented it as an official store. We are working to address this situation, and within a month, it will be improved. We hope you will continue to keep an eye on our products, and we sincerely thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I was looking for a second airbrush. Thanks for the review, Mike!
Just ordered it, like you I need a workhorse for priming, thanks Mike
Just placed an order, Mike! The price point cant be beat. 2 in 1 airbrush!

Great to hear Peter, you know I’d never steer you wrong. You’ll enjoy this one!
Wow! I got mine ordered! I have a lot of armor to prime!
I have that , got it when they first launched . It works great !! . That nozzel is good .
Nice 👍
Thanks Mike just ordered one !
Love the brush as well
I brought one during Prime Day at 35 dollars and I agree 100% with what you're saying. This airbrush is amazing for its price.
I use mine all the time, a real stalwart of a painting tool.

I was one of the lucky ones, I paid $29 on Amazon during Christmas sale. Yay!
I'm convinced!
Got mine today: great airbrush! Can only echo MR - get one!
i lost a tamiya sprayworks AB and replaced it with one of these. i liked it so much i bought another one
I won’t ask, but heck yah 🤟
Great review. How is it holding up?
Use it all the time 👍💯 no issues after 10 months

Mike what airbrush do you use for fine lines, or do you use the .35 on the GHAD 39?

Just got mine and when pulling back the needle goes up and down in the exposed section not just front and back. Is this normal?
No, not normal at all, recommend contact Gaahleri and will be replaced immediately.

That’s great Bob, and yes 💯 agree these airbrushes perform exceptionally well. Have stopped using them since I bought the -39.
Did you need to buy an adaptor for the hose? Or is it a universal one?
For me, no, because the fitting mates to the same used by Iwata, Tamiya, etc. Check yours to see if this product first your connectors, and if not then yes, you'll need a hose adapter.
A pity, I can’t fine it anywhere here in Europe
EU/UK Amazon sales in the works and should be functioning soon, this is all brand new happenings 👍

The nozzle system looks very similar to the Harder & Steenbeck airbrush I presently use......but the price is definitely not similar at all!
$45 for the yanks, £73 for the Brits. I hate companies that do that
