I love the Gaalheri airbrushes. You can do fine lines with them. All you got to do is reduced the paint alittle more and play with your air pressure and make sure you clean your airbrush in between color changes and always clean it after use

I own a GHAD-39 and a Mobius 0.2 airbrushes. The only real issue I've had is the 0.2 had a bent needle upon shipping which they promptly replaced. They look good and feel great. Now I have to start putting paint to=hrough them to see what all the hubbub is all about. So far so good.

Very nice review. I appreciate your honesty. Last fall i purchased the GHAD-68, pistol or trigger style air brush from Gaalheria. This was first for me, and fell in love with it. I then purchased the Barbateos Rex swallowtail air brush and now im almost exclusively using these two air brushes. I almost purchased the Gaalheria chinese new special but decided not to for monetary reasons only. Anyway till the next video.

I reviewed one as well. I found it to be a competent airbrush for the money. Most of the people complaining about these are trying to compare these to $300+ H&S infinities or $500 Iwata Microns. This isn't a brush in that class. It's not trying to be. It's a very competent mid-range sub $100 airbrush. When you start comparing them with actual competitors such as the Iwata neo (also a Chinese made low-cost brush) or a badger Patriot at just over $100, the Mobius stands up pretty well.

I absolutely love my Mobius airbrush. A few years ago my right hand had a discussion with a table saw blade. Since then, my right index finger is mostly without feeling. My right ring finger is hyper sensitive. My Mobius brush is the most comfortable of all my brushes (I have 14). I would never have thought to test the pressure required to operate the trigger. But I'll bet that is a major contributing factor to its comfort. That and the shape of the trigger.. Thanks for video.

Kevin - I'm a little worried now, just purchased a Mobius brush, but I also own a table saw...should I give up on both?

@@chrisjordan4210 As long as you are on good terms with your table saw, I don't think you need to give that one up. If you decide to give up your Mobius, which you really should, send it my way. 😇

DaveG panned these after he couldn’t get any round nozzles. Gaahleri simply couldn’t produce a nozzle that was properly machined after several attempts. My Gaahleris had metal shavings and burrs inside, and the trigger was machined incorrectly creating an interference issue with the needle passing through it - in effect, if you pulled the trigger back beyond halfway without pushing down the air would come on anyway. I find the .3 is better than the .2 for detail work.

Thats fair enough if that is your experience. For me, its the other way around :) People tend to compare this to a USD350 airbrush when in fact it costs 65 :)

@@jameswilliams3304 they’ve fixed a few things since then. I’m fairly certain I was the first one to alert them to the trigger design problem as I was a pre-release tester. But there were other…bugs. Fact is they weren’t ready for market. Maybe still aren’t.

jameswilliams3304 They are made in China and those people are notorious for cutting corners and do not know what quality is all about to save 0.00001 yen. I would make them someplace else.

Thanks. Model builder in need of a dedicated metallics dual action gravity airbrush. Using Grex Tritium and Genesis; and Iwata HP-SB (40 years old and still works great) for detail work, and a trusty old PaH for metallics work (over 50!). Just cant trust myself to deep clean the DA-SF brushes well enough to not contaminate other colors, but want the finer control. It's down to this Mobius or a NEO CN...I like the way the way the Mobius tears down.
    And your work is outstanding!

If it helps, I have both the Mobius and the NEO. I find I almost always pick the Mobius. I use mostly solvent based paints; colors, candies, metallics, whatever. But it also works well on those rare occasions I use acrylics.

I think these are great airbrushes for the price. A similarly featured unit from Iwata would be 3 times the price. You said at the start of the video you purchased them, yet near the end you said you did not purchase them...which is it...?

Let me answer that. Contrary to popular belief, the bodies of the Mobius 0.2 and. 0.3. are NOT IDENTICAL. The air passages and chamber, as well as the design of the air chamber at the front of the body is DIFFERENT in the 2 models. The. 0.2 is designed and made to flow LESS AIR Volume and velocity than the 0.3. This is why certain users will not fully realize the performance potential of his Mobius's due to his usage of the. 0.3 needle/nozzle combo in a 0.2 body, or vice versa.
