Hi, Ol' Army Sarge! You are lucky in becoming aware of Angelina at the age of 49, as you will still be around when she reaches her peak. I discovered her when the video of her audition was uploaded to UA-cam, way back in 2014, just before my 83rd birthday. So I doubt I will be around very much longer. My current goal is to continue breathing until 10 Jan 2027, so that I can raise a glass to celebrate her coming of age at 21. I

I have enjoyed you reactions to Angelina Jordan. I am a big fan of many of the other artists you have been exploring Homefree, PTX, Ren. There are so many great atists appearing on youtube.
That said none have touched me like Angelina. Her emotional expression, vocal versatility in so many genres combined with her humility and personal humanity make her a rare person indeed. All these great artists can touch our lives in so many great ways.
Rabbit holes? What are the alternatives? The crap you hear on commercial radio? I'll live the few short years I have left in these rabbit holes, and I'll enjoy hanging out with Pentaholics, Homefries and Angels etc. Instead of the zombies staring at cable news and blaring the crap on commercial radio.
There are many more wonderful rabbit holes to explore as well, but few as rich as Angelina.❤
See that what i was thinking, do a few from each main rabbit hole per day, that way no on feels neglected but I keep my subs around too

People will sense it, just as they can sense the many phony reactors out there who are just going through the motions. If Angelina or Dimash or Lara or Diana or Voiceplay etc. touch your heart, then follow your heart.

At the beginning of the video it gives the name of the video's director, Mery Zamani. Mery is Angelina's maternal grandmother and AJ's greatest resource for inspiration. Mery is a highly accomplished artist (painting and poetry) and was a child prodigy herself. Mery is the woman giving something to AJ at the beginning of the I Put A Spell On You video.

Many of us have been around the block many, many times if you know what I mean and most of us have never heard anyone like her. But, Sarge, you're already beginning to understand there's a lot more going on with Angelina. Besides her voice and her artistic qualities, it's 'who she is'. She is genuinely a Messenger of Love.

Sarge When i first saw her years ago i was telling myself i would listen to this amazing young girl and i did while she turned into an amazing young woman .I try not to compare every other singer i take the time to listen to to her but i justalways think""I think Angelina could sing that with more emotion,cleaner and clearer notes etc .Its just became a train that Angelina pulls,and every ither singers a boxcar.There are some beautiful vicalists out there.I just prefer her every day it seems

I think read one of your comments that you have PTSD? I've had a TBI for 25+ years and I can say listening to Angelina, at any age, is truly therapeutic. I mean that. Most of her earlier stuff is nothing I would have otherwise listened to, but I think her voice does something to my brain. I would never have guessed I would listen to such songs as this 100's of times! lol The newer stuff is no different other than I would have guessed I would listen to that;P
Yeah I had a TBI in Iraq in May 2003, almost at the end of the ground war, long time ago, hate that it still messes with me

I would like to recommend my favorite performance by Angelina. “Unchained Melody” at the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize concert. It shows how ridiculous her range is when she wants to use it. Mic sounds better.

If you really enjoy this song its one of her favorites and has sung it many time throughout the years. At 12 she was known and took under the wing of Quincy Jones who stated he hasnt seen the likes of talent in one child since his close friend the late Michael Jackson. Quincy invited her and others to sing at his 85th birthday event at the 02 in London. The orchestra was arranged by Quincy and add Angelina to the mix and you have pure perfection.

Angelina Jordan is probably the most talented singer I've ever seen. There is however another child prodigy that is even more talented, a composer. Alma Deutscher started playing the piano at 2 the violin at 3 and composing at 4. She composed her first sonata when she was 5 . She composed an operetta Don Alonso the pirate when she was five. That wasn't released but the next operata sweeper of dreams which she composed when she was seven was and has been performed in every continent except Antarctica. This makes Alma the youngest person to have ever composed an opera. Mozart composed his first opera at 11. She's done a lot she's 18 years old now. I'm sending a link to her performing the third movement of a violin concerto that she composed. She was nine years old.

I've heard serious professionals say that she's a better composer than Mozart was at the same ages. Alma's Opera Cinderella which he composed at 8 years old and expanded at 10 was debuted at 11 is called a masterpiece, and her a master composer. Canta in Inglese che non è la sua prima lingua. La vedevi già a 6 anni in studio cantare leggendo i testi in Inglese e stando a tempo. E' una spugna, assimila tutto in brevissimo tempo. Le basta ascoltare una canzone 3-4 volte per farla sua.
Il problema con Angelina è che canta quasi tutti i generi musicali a livello dei migliori specialisti. Per questo a noi fans basta solo Angelina, è come avere a disposizione un jukebox. Siamo diventati dipendenti e noi Angeli, come lei ci chiama, l'ascoltiamo almeno un'ora al giorno, tra l'altro aiuta a togliere il medico di torno, e siamo sempre in attesa di novità, che lei non lesina. La ragazza è di una produttività incredibile, come penso avrai capito.
