You are my favorite UA-cam guy now. You mix education and entertainment, you are not just doing gear reviews. I love it.
gminorcoles thanks brother!! We’re getting into the zone!!!
Ditto, couldn't agree more, with you 100%
Thanks Analogue, all your vids are very entertaining and educational, this one has certainly helped me, I've finally made a half decent sound by getting the instruments to work together, rather than them trying to compete against each other, you are a true gent sir! ✌🏻
These videos are like the musical equivalent of those workout videos - always motivational haha. What could be better than watching someone who still loves his craft after 30 years!
Haha. I guess they are. Having the right mindset will make you become an asset in the end. Thanks for watching! Stay safe
1.87k subscribers? UA-cam is seriously overlooking Analog Kitchen. This channel is great!
Slowly but surely brother! We’ll get there!! Thanks for supporting. Hope you’re well. Haven’t seen you in a while
This process does take time. Limitations in the beginning can help. Building your live environment (instrument setup) certainly helps define your sound. Avoid getting caught up in gear trends or accumulation traps. In the beginning you can learn lots of technique by mimicking other artists and then take the road to you own sound. Enjoy the epic journey 👍😎
So trough. It happened to me too when I started out as you feel you have to hit the ground running. Thanks Sub for sharing 🙏🏾
Wow I can't believe I just discovered your channel today! So much good content and super inspirational!
Well, I'm glad you did! Welcome!
Amazing video. You have the best energy and its so fun watching you play your rig. Thanks so much for these videos.
Thanks for watching!

Glad you’re into it! Thanks for watching
“That snare is getting on my nerves” 😆 I feel u dawg
Hahaha. Thanks for watching brother
I really love how tranformative this is to my workflow. Like I have found the magic that binds things together. I'll have a hot summer, oh yes I will \o/
That is great to hear!
I'm just a hobbyist, but these videos are soooo great! Gets me so excited to get into the synths!
Aren’t we all hobbyists. I’ve even got long toes so I’m that 1 hobbyists that lives in the shire ? ;)
Great videos!
Thank you Matt!
an other really interesting video thks!!!! top as usual ;-)))))
Thanks again!
Brilliant!
Omri Cohen glad you’re into it Omri!!
Totally agree with your words brother, it’s more fun when producers look for their own sound. Of course we all have inspirations and coincidences with others, that’s inevitable but yes, we must try giving our own touch. By the way that is a cool trick to find melodies with rhythmic patterns! For instance i also make recordings with different objects, some percussion loops, etc. I mean with that you can achieve a very unique and human feel. Cheers!
Hey Ark, that was my idea as well. When you pinpoint your own rhythm you are already halfway there. Nice touch you have there as well. I loved your performance as well
Analog Kitchen I love to hear that brother! That’s keeping me at work even more! Cheers!!
I’m looking forward to watch this!
I hope you’ve enjoyed it!
That was a very inspirational video.

incredilbly inspiring , love this channel man ...
Thanks for watching brother!
you are very welcome ,keep going
Hi mate just found your vids there fantastic
Welcome aboard! Glad you dig it!
thanks for all this great content! The way you talk about sound design and mixing is different than other youtube content I have seen and also way more helpful/inspiring. Do you ever do a midi hybrid setup with your modular or do you mainly use it for sampling? I am curious because I have a small modular synth+ digitakt+ micromonsta and I have trouble getting the pitches of the synths to be in the same key. I would love to use all three together for live sets but I have just used the digitakt + modular for the last couple performances (with cv.ocd midi/cv converter). I use the ornament and crime pitch quantiser module and I am not sure if the problem is technical or just me not knowing enough theory haha
I will do a modular vid again soon! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! I’m gonna dig around your old videos, have you ever covered the multiclock at all?
text adventure thanks for checking. I have briefly but I might do a video on the clock. Swiss Army knife when it comes to sync stuff
Awesome stuff. The link to spotify in the description is broken.
Thanks! I’ll look into it!
Was the MPC not able to handle master clocking? Curious on what the deciding factor on getting thr ERM multiclock was. The swing function?
The fact that I have a 303 and AS1 run on their own clock. They’re not connected to play midi notes
The irony of using a 303 as a bassline machine, instead of an acid machine! ;)
I was just reading the manual. They say it’s made for bass not acid. So I followed the rules
@@AnalogKitchen hah! It's finally come full circle for Mr Kikumoto!
Back to studies ;-)
School is in session!
Make drums into notes.... oh man, how many years I've wasted not realizing this simple truth !
No time is ever wasted my brother!
@@AnalogKitchen I learnt/was taught to make the drums melodic and the synths percussive. :)
Really, really enjoying your channel bud. Just getting back into music after a decade away and this channel is on point.
Your observation in this vid about themes and moving from one theme to another per track is stunning. The lines between telling a story and a set - and - making it clear you are going to tell the listeners a story... awesome. :)
