C'mon WRC we need more coverage like these. Bring the sport back to its glory. Consider doing away with the 1min 25 sec short clip Highlights. Back in the day there were 30 min highlights that covered all drivers in an event. Their ups and downs. It was exciting to watch how all drivers tackled a tricky section. Today you are so bias in your coverage you dont give fans much to look forward to.

Everyone understands that, also look at any UA-cam video and see how many ads are in a video, ads are highly moderated for a better user experience. To me It's just more money for WRC if you think about it and they should take advantage of it as they will have many views and clicks on certain rounds than others. And not forgetting getting more people back in the sport. Good example is how motogp & sbk has embraced social media. You have full races as far back as 2018 on UA-cam that you can go back and watch at your own convenience. A full race is about 1hr.. guess how many ads you will see in that hour. Wow, crazy fun! Looking forward to Kenya 2023 this week! Driving across the African savanna on (barley) roads, some created only by farming tractors, down long high-speed straightaways, and bisecting a herd of Zerbra! At least they aren't in danger of racing off a cliff on this one! I love noticing how when Ogier's hand reaches for the handbrake (at 11:37 for just one example), he first grazes his hand across the gearshift to ensure he's grabbing the right lever before he pulls the brake. Make sure to grab the right one!! I'd love to see how these drivers and co-pilots create their pace notes for such epic long treks! I need to research that. Cuz, dang.
Excelente tramo, representativo de lo que era el Safari, igual no puedo dejar de pensar en lo que era la competencia anterior, incluso la "suavizada" de los 90, cientos de km de ruta abierta y de virtual campo abierto. Ya no son tiempos de esas épicas deportivas

Casual Sunday drive! Bring back the stages of the 80's and 90's and change up the rules so manufacturers actually want to get involved again! You have a serious problem when the amateur rallies are more exciting than the top tier version.
No. There is only so much roughness a car can withstand while having complicated vehicle dynamics to deal with. Past that point, it's just something anyone could do, because it's no longer about pushing a car to its limits due to it being outright low on the conditions, but about cruising thru. So, boring. This new Safari strikes a good balance between rough madness and proper driving skils -- and massive mud, which is lovely and tricky.
@@zwjnaagree with you. Out on the bush you don't want a super complex machine fitted with 100s of sensors and delicate electronics. Otherwise they'll be many DNFs because of difficult bush repairs. That technology is for F1 only on their perfectly paved tracks and fully stocked on site garages.
This is a kenya wrc stage. Looks like no other country. Big wide roads with large open area and the roads are not too good. Long straight but the road is not too good.

There is still 30 and 60min highlights from every event +40-90min livefootage from each stage.
