Omg,,,im so happy that this girl changed her life,,,im 35 and 3 years ago I was addicted to fentonal an I had a stroke an kidney failure, had to be on dialysis with 2 blood transfusions i had to learn how to walk again an use my arm""half my body was pearlized due to the stroke,,,,its is now been 3 years an iv made a full recovery an got off fentonal,,iv given my parents there son back

As someone who was homeless in overtown for 5 years as an IV junkie, I can’t help but wonder what she’s doing in that park. That infamous park where drugs are sold and drugs are used underneath the metro rail. I’ve drove through overtown on 8th street, which is totally gentrified but I never in my life would consider driving down any of the streets where drugs are sold. And the idea of getting on my feet and walking in that area? Especially in that park? Never in a million years. I don’t believe she’s clean. She looks better but she has ZERO business being in that park. I’ve seen it so many times where people get a little bit of time sober and they want to go back to overtown and show everyone how good they look (no one cares out there) and they end up using. Just driving down gentrified 8th street when I have an actual purpose driving in that neighborhood and I feel a feeling of disgust, I cannot imagine being sober and choosing to walk around overtown. I have 4 years now sober from 5 years of homelessness and IV drug use, and in my experience people get prideful and egotistical and they can’t leave the people places and things behind and it takes one bad day, one bad feeling and your back to square one. Mark my words, we’re going to see a follow up video to this where she’s back out there homeless. I hope not but I’m not falling for this. She has ZERO business being in that park.
I really hope she doesn't... but I agree if you want to leave your old life and get clean it's best to walk away and never look back. It's self sabotaging to come back to the old places and meet the wrong people again.
@@TaMarAaQhere’s the problem. And I have seen it many times when I was in active addiction. These people go to a county funded rehab, get a haircut, get some new clothes, and then they want to go show it off to old their old “friends”. And they go to overtown just to look for people who they used to get high with to tell them how great life is when you’re sober, when in reality, they’re still in rehab or sober living, they might have a little job, but over all they’re still so sick, and they have no business being down there preaching to anyone. And the truth is no one gives a fuck. When I was getting high and I saw someone who got clean and they were coming to just say hi, if you didn’t have any money or dope for me I could care less what you’re doing with your life. People need really understand when you stop getting high, none of that shit matters any more. None of those people who you thought were your friends matter. It’s such a dangerous position to put yourself in with such limited clean time and accountability. But to each their own. I’ve been sober for 5 years and I’ve built a crazy good life and not once did I think it would be a smart idea to go see what everyone’s up to in OT. Every now and then I’ll talk to someone over messenger who knows what’s going on but I keep my questions very limited, as well as the conversation. I only associate with people who are beneficial to my life. Let those people wake up the same way I did, by suffering.
