      +EndofMusic Yes it is true. It does not cure schizophrenia, but for some sufferers of the disease, it gives symptom relief during the duration of the drug's effects.

    I think the past year I've had it rough. My father passed. I've had relationship problems. So many things going wrong. Shockingly MDMA under supervision and moderation I've conquered depression and I'm slowly putting my life back together. Things arnt as black and white with drugs. I don't encourage recreational use but I do encourage the fact that more studies should be done and looked into to make this more understood.

    I think love is more of an action than a feeling, but mdma helps to tap into that feeling and bring a new found passion for loving others that it becomes easier for someone to love in the doing sense. A lot of the time people can love without feeling any kinda emotion, just an action

    Best drug ive ever taken, ive had some of the most absolute best nights ever out and in with my friends so far whilst on MDMA. The amount of memories i still have whilst on this drug is endless and everysingle one is good vibes. Never had a freaked out moment, never hurt myself or puked over someone, never got into any fights with someone. All i wanna do is take some MDMA dance loads, chillout on some massive sofa with loads of people chat about random shit, tell my mates i love them so and everyone else for ages, dance some more, chat up some girls, give random people cuddles, get someone to rub my back hah, chat some more shit, dance some more, feel absolutely fucking amazing all night with everyone around me, feel so awesome how music is and wake up the next morning feeling like holy moly WOW that was a fucking awesome night i want to do it again! But no insted what do we get told were allowed to take by the government? Fucking Poison!!!!

    I was told it was originally used to treat depression and wasn't actually outlawed until sometime in the 80's.

    • @SailorBarsoom
      @SailorBarsoom 8 років тому +1

      It was also used in couples therapy and to treat PTSD. But hey, young people were dancing with glowsticks and talking about love *and we can't have that!* Sorry veterans and rape victims; stopping young people from having fun is *much* more important than helping you.

    MDMA is probably the best drug imo in terms of the way it makes you feel. Are you guys going to at least go over the cons sometime during the movie? I feel its important people know what they're taking, and understand the chemical changes that happen when taking mdma. I hate to say it but there WILL be kids/adults watching this movie that dont have the best smarts and will abuse this drug. Im excited for the movie!

      Niaxe111 you've obvously never done heroin or meth, puts ecstacy to shame. I havent done it either but when it comes to drugs and 'how they make you feel' there are even better things out there.

    • @Mdmathemovie2016
      @Mdmathemovie2016  9 років тому +6

      Daniel Parkes Surveys consistently show that the vast majority of people who try heroin or meth do not like it. The same is true for almost all psychoactive drugs. Only about 5-10% of people who try them like them. There are a few exceptions. The first is alcohol, which is around 30%. The second is MDMA, which is around 90%. Of all drugs, MDMA appears to be the one that most consistently produces a positive, desirable experience in users.
      It is a myth that more addictive drugs are more desirable. That's not how addiction works. Drugs that are more addictive tend to be ones that produce either are more numbing or more distracting experience... something a user can use repeatedly to escape from their emotional troubles. MDMA is neither. As a psychedelic, it tends to make people confront their emotions and psychological issues. It is not an escape drug at all. The feelings of love and empathy it produces are helpful for this therapeutic effect, but even when deep healing of trauma is not a part of the experience (some people haven simply not suffered deep trauma), MDMA tends to produce lasting insight and uplift the soul.
      Someone might find it odd that the drug with the highest desirability rating in all surveys ever conducted is also non-addictive. But the non-addictive nature of MDMA is one of the reasons so many people enjoy it.

      MDMA The Movie What drugs do you classify as Psychedelic? What is your definition? Some people consider MDMA a(n) (Euphoric) Empathogen or Stimulant instead of like the classically described Psychedelics: LSD, Psilocybin/Psilocin, Mescaline and DMT. Including other naturally occurring ones such as LSA, Bufotenine, 5-MEO-DMT, Salvinorin A, Ibogaine. Because of the research and or studies going on having to do with Ketamine therapy for similar ailments, what is your opinion on that substance? Is it a Dissociative Anaesthetic or Psychedelic? Does MDMA really "mow down" neuron receptor sites?

    I've done quite a few a drugs and IMO drugs such as meth(smoked and snorted) Kat and coke are amazing when you're completely shitfaced but crap when you sober and its easier to get addicted to coz it makes you forget any pain or depression for a few hours,days depending on how long your binge lasts. then one night I went to a club that has an amazing psytrance floor and I had the chance to try crystallized mdma in a yellow capsule and it was like a complete new world the experience was in a completely different dimension then any other i tried. It was like i had "stepped into my own dimension" nothing bothered me the depression faded away within minutes of the trip starting and all i wanted to do was move to the music well more the like music was the one moving me it was an insane feeling and one of the best experiences I've had never felt so at peace with myself. and the best part of mdma is when you wake up the next day you're brimming with confidence and have a more positive outlook on life because you finally had the courage to face your inner demons and lay them to rest. It really is an amazing drug and yes it does have it cons like its not good to mix alcohol with it because you're sweating like its nobody's business but at the same time water tastes and feels amazing I felt like i was reborn with every sip and then its back to the floor to lose yourself in the music and lights not bothered or bothering another soul and i haven't touched it since. Cant wait to do it again with a more positive outlook on life I feel like it will be 100 times better than the first

    Hey guys I'm a 20 yr old male from Long Island and I've been depressed up for about 2 yrs ,kind of addicted to the ganja . I can't get out of my head especially when by myself which is most of time when I get home , somedays my head gets really loud ,I start thinking about my thinking and I get lost in dull details and worry about past things .Some advice would greatly appreciated if Molly would help

    • @phasetek
      @phasetek 9 років тому +1

      sultan ahamad Hi Sultan, I am from L.I. too (with many years of experience). Although molly (was called x back in my day) has had some amazing results for PTSD and psychotherapy, the difference is in both these examples they are usually done in a clinical setting with a trained therapist that will guide you on a tour through your feelings. I don't think its a good idea to use alone to calm down your over-active mind or for depression, It really is a social drug designed to be used in a social setting. In your case if used alone it will probably to the opposite of what you want, and turn up the volume inside your brain, and make your head "louder". Also in most cases other than one time use it will probably cause more depression than it cures (it is good for someone who is relatively balanced to start with that can handle a few days of depression from serotonin depletion post use). If you really want to mess with it, do it in a social setting with lots of people and music around, and start small.

      MDMA won't help you with addiction and it probably wont cure your depression unless you really know what you're doing and do it right.
      I would recommend shrooms. They will make you not want to be addicted and they are imo the best drug for depression. They make you realize depression is just an illusion.

    i know a bunch of people who abused that suff a little bit and turned out cold hearted and open to exploit other people for their benifits ofc it may not be the majority and i guess that i was just unlucky with my connections and ofc its not only able to be triggered by drugs like madma but also weed etc add to that personality and many other factors play a role too..

    • @josephablack759

      I think drugs just open up your subconsciousness. Whether it's full of traumas e.g. or not, it's YOU, nothing more. Like she said in the interview.
      Drugs don't CREATE things, that weren't there before. At least no non-addictive drugs like MDMA and LSD e.g.

    It's sickening to see how many people think that drugs are good. Yeah ok ,MDMA makes u happy, weed makes u happy, and all the other shit makes u happy.. i can agree with that . But people were happy long before MDMA was created or the other shit , they also knew love long before that. So instead of taking a joypill to make ur miserabile life better get off your ass and do something for it, love and happieness will come . Not in a matter of a few seconds , might takes years but it's gonna be so worth it.

      I agree , it is medicine for people that actually NEED it, and that is amazing! And it can also enhance ur reality maybe, but still, my point is by doing so you are taking a shortcut. Look, all I want to say is that I've seen alot of people with great potential waste it because of drugs. You should put that part in your movie too.
