The owner manual is the worst part of a very good car. Skoda need to get a new team of technical writers. It’s impossible to change the bulb following the manual as it gets the terms mixed up, but this video makes it easy. Access in my car isn’t as good as this, as there is a fuse box right behind the headlight unit, so I had to do it by feel and with a mirror, but once I had seen how it pops out in the video it was quite easy. It’s a way of attaching the bulb that I hadn’t seen before. It literally just pulls out and pushes back in, but you need quite strong fingers. Reading the manual, I thought you had to remove the metal ring with the lugs. That would have been a bad idea. Thanks for posting, saved me a lot of hassle.
I tried to do this and the bulb refused to come out. I tried the right hand side one first as looked slightly easier access, but I could not get it out after 10 minutes of trying. What's the trick please?
just press down on the wire electric connector prongs, once you have removed the electric connector the top clips will release, and tilt down at the same time then lift to release the bottom clip
You are not showing the right thing because you made it look so easy whereas I've just tried and it doesn't work the way you show it. There is something that you don't tell us.
