Bro I appreciate your help!! You helped me fix my own problem. Turned out my fuse was blown the whole time. I ended up buying new Led bulbs but I guess Il just keep them 😁
This video helped a lot, it helped me to fix a front drivers side light bulb that was out for a while. I'm glad I fixed it by myself because you can go to the mechanic & they can tell you anything. Like, you have a wiring problem or anything to get more money out of you.
My lights abruptly stopped working and I don't have the testing tool you have, I checked the bulbs and fuses but these no light, wires are a bit beyond me so I guess it's my mechanics job now
I have an Audi A4 2016 I changed the bulb in the passenger side but still not working :/ it goes on for seconds n then it turns off right after any ideas what could be?
Can you help me, when I turn the nob to headlights to light up it doesn't works. The headlights, dashboard and back lights don't turn on but my lights work. My brakes light turn on, my headlight works and dashboard but it doesn't turns on when I turn the nob at night mode to drive at night. Please help
I have a Honda Civic 2018 my driver side low beam stopped working. I changed the bulb, nothing. I changed the fuse… nothing. I checked the wires from what I can see I don’t see anything bare or burnt. Any suggestions?
Girl, I have a 2014, civic and my passenger low beam has been out for months now. I've checked the fuse and the relay they looked fine, bulb worked on drivers side. I've looked up the blueprint for the electrical wiring of the headlights but that's seems a bit more advanced and where my mechanical know-how ends, especially since I'm not getting on my back and shimmying under the car and all. However, I'm almost certain it's not the wiring anyway since the blinker and high beams are fine as well as the wiring about a foot down from where it attaches to my low beam socket. One possibility I saw, if you haven't checked (although I'm guessing you probably figured it out by now) was to inspect the copper terminals inside the actual socket to check for corrosion as it might prevent a good solid connection between the socket and the bulb. If there is corrosion, wipe it out with a dry rag until you can buy a new one to replace it within that next week or two. My oil change light just came on and I have the HondaCare so I can just take it in and my family knows a few people in the service dept. who usually help us out of its something quick and an easy fix (like wiring). I mean, if they're gonna check the wiring to diagnose the issue and they see a spot that may have fried or chewed or something, it takes all of 3 minutes to strip each of the ends, connect them and secure with a wire clamp or, hell, at this point is be happy if they just threw some electrical tape over the connection. Either way, it'd be nice not having to continue blinding other drivers at night (since I drive with my brights on so, knock on wood, if some cop was in a d!ck mood that day maybe I'd have better luck if he glanced my way since it wouldn't be as obvious my headlights out... especially since my car is a black 2dr with blacked out, illegal tint. Hey, whatever helps to avoid seeing them flashing lights in the rearview, right?) If you figured out what was going on with your headlight, could you maybe let me know? I know it doesn't necessarily mean it's the same thing but considering we got the same make/model, just 4 years difference, and have the same issue and eliminated the same easy fixes, I mean, there's a good chance it's the same issue - or close enough, lol. If I find out anything in the next week or so when I take my car into Honda for the oil change, I'll let you know. Either way, hope it's an easy, cheap fix for the both of us. Especially since everybody's car fund is going towards gas nowadays and damn, these gas prices be hurtin', no doubt.
I have a astra f 1996 and put a new headlight bulb in but low beam still doesn't work, high beam is ok, but low beam on drivers side doesn't work.do you think it could be a fuse, but high beam is ok.
Sorry it wasn't the low and high beam that wasn't working, it was the side lights a small bulb under the right side low down, very small bulb push fit.and ok now.🙂
Thank you !! I’m trying to fix my daytime running lights when I turn my lights on the rear doesn’t work, changed bulbs and no luck I’m gonna try this method right now and see what I find 🙏
my 2011 Ford F150 has an issue with the low beam on the driver's side. Bulb replacements don't fix the problem and the fuses have been replaced more than once. I don't quite know how to track down the issue beyond that.
Right side headlight is out. I replaced the bulb and relay even though they looked fine. I Used a test light in the headlight connector, and found power and ground but the bulb doesn’t light up. I even swapped the bulb to make sure. Any ideas?
For my 2007 jeep patriot the ground for the right side head light is bolted neat the reservoir for the coolant. The right head light and the fog light do not work after changing them. I smell coolant outside after driving. Can't find leak. Changed Ignition coil pack last week. Wondering if coolant leaked onto the ground wires and caused faulty wiring and killed both lights. Wondering if I have a bigger problem also with this coolant.
I was replacing my left high beam since it wasn’t working & then after I changed it , it started to work, and so I decided to change the right one too since I was already working on it. (It was already working just wanted to replace it with a new one might as well) and when I started moving it to take it out I noticed the it stopped working & I thought I should just replace it & it should work but even after I replaced it , it didn’t work. Maybe I moved a wire or something ? Any tips ? Ford Fusion 2010
I’ve done some wiring myself , something I never thought I could do until I watched a UA-cam video on it and it took me about an hour - hour and a half. A shop would’ve got me for at least ~$500 probably more after they finished jackin around. & the connectors cost me under $3 ... assuming you can follow the steps and do it properly it’s worth it even if it ends up not fixing the issue because you took one thing off the list that they might charge you for which they love doing. “Well we ran all new wires and it still didn’t work so we had to replace this , it’s gonna cost ya another $350”
We also need to know the year, make, and model of the vehicle you worked on. For my car, the two low beams did not work after changing the two light bulbs and then changing all the fuses. I suspect it's the relay.
All I put in was change the driver side headlight bulbs on a 2004 Hyundai and everything shows the passenger side on everything from a 2000-2014 absolutely nobody knows how to change the light bulb on the driver side of the 2004 or 2006 Hyundai Sonata
I didn’t even think the L and R lamps would have separate fuses! This was super helpful. Thanks so much 🙏
Bro I appreciate your help!! You helped me fix my own problem. Turned out my fuse was blown the whole time. I ended up buying new Led bulbs but I guess Il just keep them 😁
All the fuses are good....put two different new bulbs in....still doesn't work....not sure what to do now.
Me too, were you able to fix it?
Same here except I have one side working and the other one doesn't.
Wiring or plug. Best to have an auto electrician check it out then.
Hey did you figured it out, I'm having the same problem
Maybe the switch?
This video helped a lot, it helped me to fix a front drivers side light bulb that was out for a while.
I'm glad I fixed it by myself because you can go to the mechanic & they can tell you anything.
Like, you have a wiring problem or anything to get more money out of you.
Glad to hear, thanks for watching. Cheers from Connecticut.
👍
what was the issue
Thank you for this video. Now I need to find my husbands tester and check before I waste a bunch of money putting it in the shop.
Here after throwing a tantrum that I can't go out tonight due to stupid problem
😂😂yeo thought I was the only one
Bruh I’m so pissed
I checked my fuses and ended up dropping one in my engine. The fuses were fine too
Just use your high beams temporarily
😂😂
I needed this so much, thank you… I’ll be checking my fuse right after work tomorrow!
Just checking the Hi and Lo beam is only ONE D2S Xenon HID bulb, not two separate bulbs.
Thanks!!! Really worked!! Help us again!! My 2003 Ford Explorer, 230,000 miles and still going strong... except the drivers side headlight.
My lights abruptly stopped working and I don't have the testing tool you have, I checked the bulbs and fuses but these no light, wires are a bit beyond me so I guess it's my mechanics job now
Life saver bro. Thanksgiving!
What did he say didn’t listen to it working on this now.
Not trying to be a jerk but you might get more hits if you change “bulp” to “bulb.” Thanks for the video...this fixed my problem!
Yes, lol
Who cares
It’s just his accent lol

Thanks for this info sir..
Very good.

Throw the whole car away

Did you ever figure it out because I have the same problem
2017 Ford Focus Is there any connection with fuse box and headlights?
Yes
Right side headlight is out. I replaced the bulb and relay even though they looked fine. I Used a test light in the headlight connector, and found power and ground but the bulb doesn’t light up. I even swapped the bulb to make sure. Any ideas?
where the fuse is labeled the amperage.... there are two spots to check the fuse without pulling it out..
Usually inside the top cover.
So you find a blown fuse: you’re done? What caused that fuse to blow? Did you check the grounds?

Wondering if coolant leaked onto the ground wires and caused faulty wiring and killed both lights. Wondering if I have a bigger problem also with this coolant.
Maybe, check for leaks in the night with a UV light.
Will this work if the wires has a electrical tape over it or shielding? My 06 BMW 325i passenger side bulb is out. Swap bulbs still doesn't work.
Yes, poke the wires or peel it back a bit.

Same problem. Did you find the problem
my 2012 mercedes e350 drivers side headlight not working switch the bulb to passenger side and it works fine,so i'm going to check the fuse.
Is wiring an easy fix? Do u recommend going to a professional and getting it fix?
It depends
I’ve done some wiring myself , something I never thought I could do until I watched a UA-cam video on it and it took me about an hour - hour and a half. Hi my cars hazards stop working and my fuses is all right where must I check for the problem so I don't have indicator lights
Fuse box
My azt241- caldina low and high beams no working, even the indicator light didn't come on.fuses and relay are not blown. What should I blame??
Check for voltage or the wiring.
My car neither of the 2 highbeam bulbs are working.
Acura TL headlight won’t work. Changed the bulb, the fuses, and the ballast but still won’t turn on smh
Wiring problem maybe
hey guys i have a problem where my mercedes benz s class 2010 right headlight wont turn on. we have bought new lights several times but it wont work
Good video buddy
Thanks 👍
Bro I just brought one of these..it's like they flicker...I hope it's just a fuse..
My left headlight on my nissan altima 2003 has went out like 5 times already....idk what to do
We also need to know the year, make, and model of the vehicle you worked on. For my car, the two low beams did not work after changing the two light bulbs and then changing all the fuses. I suspect it's the relay.
This was a 200 Mazda MPV i think.
good video but try to speak louder next time thx
One high beam not working ??? Crown Vic interceptors ...
Blown bulb?
@@hp11208 nope
Check the fuse, relay or the plug. It might be a wiring problem.
@@hp11208 thinking it's wiring but where would the relay be I don't see it listed?
Checked fuses & plugs they all worked with test light
Check in the engine bay area, did you swap the bulb to the other side to see if it lights?
I have a 2001 gs300 and both may 15a Fuse for the headlight keeps blowing
It's getting a high voltage feedback.
Bulbs are good but drivers side won’t work
Okay
