Your hair is beautiful! I just did a video dying mine from brassy balayage to dark brown too. It looks so much better now.
I honestly regret getting highlights done in my hair. my hair use to be the healthiest dark brown, I only gotten my hair done twice and that's it, my hair went through rough phases as I got hair loss, than I got my hair done the bleach completely dmaged it and made it dry, than it stopped growing. I took Biotin, and used hair masks and many diffrent shampoos, none worked. I than got my cousin to cut off my dead ends and it didn't do much, so I ended up getting it chopped off, my hair has grew a few inches but its still really dry. I miss my healthey silky dark brown hair so I'm now getting it dyed back to my natural hair colour, I'm so excited!!

Its looks great! But I have a question. I have balayage but its not as light as I wanted (just looks like super dark overgrown root line with blonde ends). Is is possible to somehow lighten the roots to make the light colour even as I want to stay blonde?

I know this video is from like a million years ago but just found it and LOVE the new color on you. Question - after coloring it, did your hair get brassier again when you were in the sun? My colorist said even if I color my highlights back to dark, going lighter / brassier is inevitable...bc the sun will oxidize the darker color...but who knows maybe that's false? Thanks again for such an informative video
Hi nicole. I have streaked highlights in my hair which are fading out. My natural colour is black but i now want to go to a dark brown. Im worried the bleached highlights will turn green after a while if i directly go to dark brown. Just wanted to know whether your hair ever had green hues showing through it after dying it the same way and colour as im your video. Thanks

my hair is super brassy and uneven, i’ve tried everything to avoid dying it again, but i can’t keep this terrible looking hair especially since i’m going on a short vacation soon! i’m gonna but the hair dye today i’ll either update today or tomorrow!!

So I didn’t know the difference between the colors on box dye so I accidentally bought it way too dark and now my hair is black so yeah I’m using your vid because I lived the color on the thumbnail your helping a lot thank you queen.
Which number did you get and which brand?
I dyed my hair too (used the number 3 “Brasilia” from L’Oréal Preference) and it became too dark on me as well, almost black.
However, it will fade after a few weeks to its true dark brown color.

I have black hair and my brown balayage is growing out - although I don't think I want the balayage anymore I'm dying to try dark brown hair - like a natural brown ughh I might do it!

I had balayage platinum blonde and it turned awful, I wanted to change it back to my natural hair color brunette. I dyed it brown and turned and an awful Cooper. I now hate my hair and don't know what to do

Hi love! Yes it has faded especially at my ends of my hair where I have bleach from my previous hair color. I am going to need to go in and re color my hair! But the process was super easy with Madison Reed and loved that I could do it at home.

I’m really scared to dye my hair again I had gotten it bleached and now it’s grown out so o tired dyeing it a light brown and it all faded out back to this ash blond color (keep in mind this is all with box dye but the blond I did) now I got some black box dye and I’ve been saying I’m gonna do it for weeks but I have already killed my hair and I don’t know if I should just do it because I hate my hair color now I guess it can’t get much worse but I’m scared of it going green it went green when I dyed it that light brown what do I do I made sure to get ammonia free hair dye that’s black please please lmk
Get like a reddish brown dye it that color first them put black ontop . So it wont go green . .unless u can find a blackred dye
Just use the color you want in semi permanent that way if you don’t like it it will wash out. Don’t worry it shouldn’t turn green

no not in my experience
For future reference- color erases color, ladies. If you take a tiny bit of color on a towel and wipe where it’s on your skin, it will come off. (BEFORE YOU GET IT WET!!)

I don’t color my hair anymore! I just embrace my natural dark color.
I had the same brassy hair and the person in the front told me Bolzano darkest mahagony brown would be dark enough. Here's a spoiler for you: ✨it's not ✨
