Ok for real though, when baby takes out his left earbud, if your wearing headphones, his music starts coming through the right ear instead of both. That's just an insane amount of detail that would never get noticed in a movie theater...

Wesker JHG no, Doc was the one being nice to manipulate Baby into helping him even after Baby settled the debt that he owed Doc but Doc actually ended up being good at the end. I mean Buddy got mad at Baby. That was kind of foreshadowed throughout the movie that if anyone hurts Darlin they would pay. Baby killed Bat's, and in turned into Darlin getting killed. Which was Baby's fault. So completely understandable why Buddy would throw that all out of the window.
It’s supposed to be that while the others are dressed in all black he is dressed in white and black to show that he is half way between innocent and guilty
It's sad knowing the fate of Darling and Buddy. Throughout the film, there seems to be a mutual respect between Baby and those two. Like they're older sibling figures to Baby and I reckon even Baby was devastated when Darling was shot.

The fact that the music always represents how Baby is listening to it ,like when Griff takes out one earbud we only hear it in one ear just like him and then when he doesn't have music you just hear the tinnitus with him.
I just saw this movie and it was awesome. I loved it! And I like how Baby's foster father was deaf and there was sign language between the two since I am learning ASL. I like how the ending was a sort of bittersweet.
1:13 - It cracks me up how much it sounds like Jon Bernthal is doing a Rick Grimes impression for this line. The way he says "carrrr" and talks out one side of his mouth lol it's uncanny.
Jon Bernthal just steals the show, no matter what he's in. Even amongst all stars like John Hamm and Kevin Spacey. Like Clint Eastwood, he basically plays a different version of himself in everything he's been in. That's what makes him unique. Awesome actor. Definitely one of my favorites of all time. "Okay folks, IF you don't see me again, it's cuz I'm dead."
@dora1980 it actually does lol. Since he's unique outside of his roles, like every other human, he's a unique actor as well. He incorporates more of his unique personality into every role he takes. So, sorry. You're just categorically wrong
@@v0rteks644 He' s a good actor like I told you , he was in the drama series the Bear and he plays something completely different. And when I say playing yourself I say it for many actors who play themelves all the time like Angelina That's not acting.
@@dora1980 I agree that literally playing yourself isn't acting. Brad Pitt guest starring as Brad Pitt is way different than the way Brad Pitt incorporated his own mannerisms and personality into the role of Tyler Durden. That's what I was referring to when speaking of Jon Bernthal as well.
@@v0rteks644 Tyler Durden was Pitt's character in Fight Club? I've never seen this film, only some scenes. But I believe what you're saying that Pitt incorporated his mannerisms into the role.

Hasan Ahmed If they ever make a sequel I want Griff to come back. Personally I think that killing off basically the entire crew except Baby was disappointing because I liked Buddy and Darling much more than I liked Debora.
That's for the courts to handle. I just love his acting chops. I don't want to lose him as an actor cuse of accusations. If he is guilty in a court of law then wahtever but If not let the man do his job cuse he is damn good.
Griff: Are you a mute? Baby: No. Buddy and Darling giggle Griff: So um...what're you listening to? Baby: Uh-music. Buddy: That's right, you tell him Baby. Dude that part is so good!
He asks if Baby is 'slow' implying that he thinks he's superior to Baby. Then later he says that Baby "thinks he's better than us". It's like he became the very enemy he complained about, that or his dialog was based on him looking at a mirror.
Well, I'm sure he thought he was superior to baby, because he knew what he was doing: Being a bad guy. Baby on the other hand was a quiet and a seemingly nice guy. The name baby could imply that he never resorted to or was a victim of violance in their field of job. So "better than us" probably was meant in regards of morals, who has no blood on his hands and is not like the others because he's just a driver.
One of the best details in this scene is that if you have stereo headphones, you can only hear the music from whichever earbud Baby has in his ear. For example, at the beginning, you can hear the music from both ears, but as soon as Griff takes his earbud out, we can only hear the music from our right ear, as that's the only earbud that is still in Baby's ears. This is carried out throughout the movie.
I like how he says "If you don't see me again, it means I'm dead." and we never see him again lol

Jon Bernthal is a legend
Top Kekk he plays the same character in every film hahaha
TheMuaythaikidd Not really, Frank Castle doesn't bully people.
@@TheMuaythaikidd the characteres he plays is a reflection of himself, he is that kind of guy in real life i think
@@Fbitypeshit But the point of being an actor is to play characters. CHARACTERS. Not just the same macho character each and every film. The only way to become a damn good actor is to play every kind of juicy character you can get your hands on, otherwise you become type-casted and that is an actor's nightmare. Evolve as an actor as you would an athlete or musician.
TheMuaythaikidd the thing is Jon always play the same kind of character, like shane the punisher etc... it’s gotta be unhealthy for his own memtal health to play dark character

Just caught this: When Buddy and Darling were talking about Bacchanallia, Baby uses the exact same lines when asking Debora out on a date.
tnp. just about everything Baby says was said earlier to him or in front of him. he's a sampler through and through
The fact that the music always represents how Baby is listening to it ,like when Griff takes out one earbud we only hear it in one ear just like him and then when he doesn't have music you just hear the tinnitus with him.
Correct that is, "was he slow?"
No
I just saw this movie and it was awesome. I loved it! And I like how Baby's foster father was deaf and there was sign language between the two since I am learning ASL. I like how the ending was a sort of bittersweet.

Edgar Wright confirmed he's doing a sequel, hope he makes it to the 2nd movie
1:13 - It cracks me up how much it sounds like Jon Bernthal is doing a Rick Grimes impression for this line. The way he says "carrrr" and talks out one side of his mouth lol it's uncanny.
Not one can say they're doing a solid Rick Grimes impression until they've taken a shot at "Awwww noooo" scene.
I mean he was his best friend lol
Jon Bernthal just steals the show, no matter what he's in. Even amongst all stars like John Hamm and Kevin Spacey. Like Clint Eastwood, he basically plays a different version of himself in everything he's been in. That's what makes him unique. Awesome actor. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.
"Okay folks, IF you don't see me again, it's cuz I'm dead."
Playing yourself doesn't make you unique. But I liked him in Sicario and the Wind River.
This really is two great films in one: The opening scene and chase, and the rest.

Jon Bernthal takes about 10 minutes in a movie and turns it into the best 10 minutes of his life and ours hahah
Too bad he isn't in as many movies as the rock, he could play the same type of person in each roll, and I'd love it every time.
Me: how many sunglasses you have?
Baby: yes
Sunglasses are 💯
I love how the music is implemented into this film. The entire movie is best matched, down to the lights. And even in this scene when his left headphone is taken off you can still hear the music, but only from the right side (listen with headphones)
I wish Griff had more screen time in this movie
Hasan Ahmed ikr? The reason why i watched this movie in the first place because of Bernthal and he only get like short amount of screentime like wtf
Hasan Ahmed If they ever make a sequel I want Griff to come back. Personally I think that killing off basically the entire crew except Baby was disappointing because I liked Buddy and Darling much more than I liked Debora.
S. Kreg I doubt it. I don't think Wright has a single sequel under his belt.
This movie is good as it is, so I don’t think a sequel is necessary. I won’t mind if they do but it better be brilliant
they pretty much replaced his character with the same character aka jamie fox lmao

That's for the courts to handle. I just love his acting chops. I don't want to lose him as an actor cuse of accusations. If he is guilty in a court of law then wahtever but If not let the man do his job cuse he is damn good.
This was the last movie where I could watch him on screen and think 'Man, I love that guy.'
Cause he's a mega nonce
When he takes Baby's left earpiece out, the music goes quiet in the left speaker, and oly returns when Baby puts it back in.
One of the best movies. That opening scene is insane

"you know what? I don't care" - Post 1999 Kevin Spacey.
I only just noticed, when the ear bud is knocked out the music only comes from the right speaker (the ear baby is listing through)
One of the best details in this scene is that if you have stereo headphones, you can only hear the music from whichever earbud Baby has in his ear. For example, at the beginning, you can hear the music from both ears, but as soon as Griff takes his earbud out, we can only hear the music from our right ear, as that's the only earbud that is still in Baby's ears. This is carried out throughout the movie.
This movie needed more Jon Bernthal.

This line is also a reminder for us viewers.
