- ride along with the 7th battalion to a reported house fire. Several others units have been dispatched to this call, including Engine 251 from the Clinton volunteer fire department. Power call and Q sounds great together
Agreed
Love that beefy KW :)
God bless you guys ...
i love that sound
thanks 4 the ride
What an awesome video.
Nice video, Dirk! As always! :)
0:39 - gotta love the Chief 😂
Powercall FTW. But he didn't need to use the siren that much.
@ffhamburg192
NICE VIDEO!!!!! POWECALL IS how we roll I Roll With Powercall, Smart Siren as well.. With my Company in Frederick County MD

Good job you guys
OMG that siren would drive me nuts :(
nice siren :)
I'm a new subscriber
hate being canceled
and they went all that way to find out it was a false alarm???
Good grief! After watching countless response videos over the years, I still can't stand the sound of a Powercall siren. I'd respond on the quiet to EVERYTHING if that were in my truck. Give me a Code 3, Whelen, or a Federal siren any day - any time. Powercall sirens just sound cheap.
nothing like a power call plus a Q. Departments in my area are just starting to use power call. I do agree however that a power call by itself doesn't sound good. I know on a lot of power call sirens they have other options than the standard power call and power call plus (fast). The intersection mode that they have is pretty badass also.
jr63049 Me too
Can you just change the siren during the first 3minutes :P hahaha !

Yea I was wondering if it was 1990s throwback with a Strobe light bar . The Chief Gig was awful but Engine 251 was beautiful and totally made up for it !!! 🤙🏼
@@josemoralesjimenez4730 ok, whatever that meant...lol
the fast powercall sounds like a damaged car-alarm...to me....
nice landscape
nice job on videos
amazing Video !!
Awesome video!
@ffhamburg192
ja du hast was übersehen. du wirst doch nicht etwa anzweifeln was ich schreibe?^^
Power sucks and is awesome at the same time
Nice video
Prince George's County ... isn't that where MW2 has some Missions?
Mutu1026 it's in Maryland not Europe.
Yeah one of the missions is in PG county Maryland
cool vid
What city is this in? Sweet video.

Anyone know the siren name, please reply to the comment
Power Call
How far was the call from the station to the scene?
You seem to luck out a lot with these ride alongs, did you buy lunch or something, just kidding you, great video.

That siren just kills it for me.
That is a nice wagon I am with accokeek
Ohh my gosh turn that electronic shit off and lay on the federal q
Nobody has a federal Q on a battalion -.-
They don’t have a federal q on a blazer dude, also there’s nothing wrong with powercall sirens
Nanu, grüne(?!) Kennleuchten an den Fahrzeugen. So was hab ich noch nicht gesehen.
love the video what was the battalian chief saying to the guys in the beginning
Why do yous change the sounds on the sirens? I've always wondered this.
***** Just a nice little tip... Wail is long, from deep to low, back down... It is meant for longer range... You can hear wail farther away then Yelp or phaser... Hense why Q's are so good for range... Hense Yelp and Phasers being used for heavier traffic and intersections... The Quick bursts are more prominent in more populated areas and long bursts are better for range... Cuz sound...
Hey camera guy u shook that camera around so much I was getting sea sick , I thought there was an Earthquake in that firehouse in the beginning of the video !! And wtf was all that video for if it wasn’t a Fire? I was just assuming for all that I’d see a stretch when we got there . Haha just breakin your balls kid , I did enjoy that power call we never get to hear that in Detroit I like that siren 👍🏽
That battalion siren is one of the worst sirens I have ever heard.
Engine 825???? Then why does it say "281" on the back????
It dosent, it says 251 because Clinton fire dept is station 25 and that is the front line pumper so it’s engine 1. And it’s called 825 because all prince George’s county for trucks have 8 on the at the beginning
hey i live close to maryland
Why are there green lights on the front?
You mean the Roto ray? Just because they look cool
@ffhamburg192
ja gut. ich möchte jetzt hier nicht das gesamte system erklären, das würde den rahmen sprengen. entweder du wartest bis ich die reportage zusammengestellt habe, oder aber du rufst mich einfach mal an.

Green lights are to signify Command correct? Or are they just there for looks.
down here its for oxygen, it means the vehicle has oxygen on it
Oh okay. Yeah we have oxygen on all of our trucks here so I wouldn't know. Up here green signifies safety officer/command.
I'm wondering if the lights on the back of Engine 251 that _seem_ to be green are actually just reflecting green from the chief's lightbar (which we see at the very beginning)?
+Tevano thebest yyu
@JsonAre dis is in maryland.not germany
what is the shit with people? six of them COULD NOT manage to pull over cause they just had to be A #1 when the trucks were pulling out if the station
yea
@V3Lee thx
schön
Its called a powercall
Is this the 6adam?? Sounds like it, and weeeehooo when that engine pulled out :D
No, the jimmy is using a DX5 I think and the truck is probably either a GE or a DX5
Dirk, are you a member at Clinton? I was on the website the other day and saw your name...I thought you only did ride-alongs for your website..
the sirene xD
What about it?
Omg love the sirens when the eng pulls out what is name of sirens and on chief car IAM obsessed with it! Thanks!
Powercall siren
Powercall siren. It’s probably either a DX5 or a Sho Me 30.2200
Cool 😎
What is that spinning thing on the front of the truck
All it is, is a fancy light. Nothing special. Catch your eye
911mporsche rotoray
Die Sirene ist gut! - aber schlechter Gebrauch!
Nice siren - but you should not use it like that!^^
Yeah but what's it called who makes it
Rotoray
Always makes me question people when you see enough of these response videos is just how many assholes there are that don't even bat an eye or make any shittin attempt to pull over let alone stop
Good video but ugly sirens
+Nacho Owned ... Sirens aren't ugly, Without sirens The fire department could not respond to fires, you disgust me.
+Rotoshaw Vlogs and Challenges For me as a German are these Sirens very ugly and all the lights with the propellter at the truck :)
He meant the rotary siren sucks.

any Hi-Lo tone in existence...
This is a powercall plus siren not a DX5
What's the first?
That siren is annoying on the battalion....no need for that if your riding behind the engine...
a fast power-call...awfull!!!!
Nah it’s awsome
dirk what are those two cylinder things on the left and right of the engine
directly below the windshield, those are lights...
KickDownGTA
They are an old-fashioned type of warning beacon called a "Mars light"
Damn was that Sherman clump?
@dva511 Powercall is the best siren.

Hey
powercall blows get a real siren
themooseisontheloose leave them alone they put their lives on the Line for you so stop treating them like shit it is not nice to be mean to other people
**powercall
Yeah
dumb cars should stop and yeah what is that spinning thing
ghostlylighthouses forgot what it’s called but its attached to most fire trucks up north
@@chefboyarb its called a Roto-Ray
Structure could burn down and be rebuilt by the time an engine could be on scene.
Uhh. That's why MULTIPLE engine and truck companies are dispatched. They don't assign one tower and a Battalion to a box alarm.
Ed N. Are you purposely being stupid in public?
What The F*ck xD weird siren xD
(I'm from The Netherlands)
It is called the power call here in the United states. It may be a weird siren, but it vibrates, and rumbles the roadway to get the drivers attention.
Cody Crawford in the netherlands the fire trucks have a airhorn :D thats a loud siren :D
Cody Crawford well, that ones is the power call but at a faster rate
I find it interesting how in different regions and states in the US there are different laws for what color emergency lights are allowed to be used, and how there are different sirens used in different areas. For example, where i live fire vehicles are only allowed to have red and yellow light, and in this video they also have green. A few vehicles in my town, such as the chief and battalion chiefs have blue lights on the rear, but not every department has that.
Matt Rolfson Where I am at, the volunteers have blue lights, and not allowed to use sirens. Fire vehicles have Red and White lights, and have multiple sirens, and police, have red white and blue

this is the second most anoying siren i have herd.
this siren is as bad as the Q
