@@maluluga3263they’ve been there for hundreds of years. Some people believe the come from Arochukwu. We should be able to form conclusions based on their dialect.
They say “bia na nki” (or so) for come here. Some areas say “bia na nga”, others say “ba na nka”, yet others may say “bia eba” so through their dialect we should be able to trace their location of origin.
Also keep in mind that names like ngozi, Ndoki and so on appear frequently in central Africa but we haven’t fully traced it.
EQ should be one of the first destinations.

Thank you for this. I spent a lot of time in Europe and I notice how the younger generation try very hard to distance themselves as being seen as African. Whether it be Ghanian, Kenyan or Nigerian. I have worked in institutions where the children were saying they were Spanish and it was their Parents who were African. Words like my heritage is Zambian but I am Spanish. This was one of the most disturbing things I had experienced. Ironically my Grand Parents have neighbours in Kumasi Ghana. An Italian family who I grew up with. Till this day they say they introduce themselves as Italians who have lived in Ghana for fifty years. They own two Italian speaking schools in Kumasi and an Italian restaurants. They never distanced themselves from their identity. This video is so encouraging to see how important Identity whilst many people would rather be claiming they are European and will campaign for that identity. They will learn French or Italian yet not want to learn their own language.xoxo

The cost of living was not expensive before the 2020 pandemic. However, the cost of living is going up now due to global inflation. Cost of living also depends on where in Belize you live. If you live in Caye caulker or San Pedro, the cost of living is higher there as supposed to when you live in San Ignacio for instance. Sir Francis Drake was the first English slaver. He sailed into west Africa with a band of pirates. They would raid villages kidnap people, burn down huts, and run back to the ship. They did this up and down the west African coast till they filled the ship - then they sailed to the Americas and earned such big profits that Queen knighted him. Please search it on the internet and see for yourself.
Belize is part of the British sphere in the Caribbean. British slavers, plantation owners, ships, financiers and so on. Not 1 ship was owned by an Igbo. Please feel free to research. Thank you

This is surprisingly amazing while the igbos in delta and river state in Nigeria are denying their ancestral roots. You speak igbo, bears igbo names and still telling yourself that you're not igbo.

Igbos or "Red Eboes" make up 80 percent of slaves traded in the atlantique and across the sahara.
I would say more tham 80 percent.

One thing about this is that this Igbo descendant might not be coming from Abia Anambra Enugu Imo or Ebony they might be coming from the Igbo communities in Delta or Rivers or bayelsa who were shipped into slavery through the Atlantic ocean I mean the odd are quite their but because they know deeply were they are coming from and their history hasn't been used to play politics they truly know their roots but their forefathers who are in Nigeria will be denying their roots because of politics. You loose the branches but not the source Igbos all over the world wake up!!

Igbo and Yorubas are VERY DIFFERENT ethnic groups in Nigeria. One in South East Nigeria and the other in South West Nigeria.
Both are separated by different ethnic groups in the South South region of Nigerian.

Sorry to tell you that Yoruba is based on a Hausa word “Ya Riba” named for the people that lived on the other side of the Niger river (Also known as, Kwara river)
The original name of this group omo Odua / oyo empire - to destroy them and prevent the rebuilding of the empire, the colonialists plus their enemies, the Fulani and the nupe as well as the Dahomey and their Brazilian Portuguese cha-cha destroyed the oyo empire, and renamed them the Yoruba to hide their history and remove their identity.
Today They are loyal servants of Nigeria, who do not even know their own history and traditional religion. Embracing the Whitemans Christianity and the Arabs Islam
In contrast, the Igbos were renamed in the 1970s from Ibo Which was the colonial name adopted around 1900. Prior to that time they were known as EBOEs. They never had any contact with the OYO empire. In fact, they were buffered by the Benin Empire.
Eboe lands stretch from Benin Edo empire on the west to the Cameroon mountains in the east with small groups moving into Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Congo. In fact, Eboeland is the home of the Bantu people that stretch into Kenya and east Africa and Zimbabwe in Southern Africa.
History was removed from the Nigerian curriculum so this may seem like new information.
There is a connection between the Igbo and Yoruba both groups are indigenous to their respective lands.

We are the direct descendants of Abraham. Abraham was an Igbo man . The Yorubas are Arabians. They are heathens and have nothing in common with the chosen people. That is why no matter how you try to pacify them they will keep hating us. Ezekiel 22:5, God says that we the igbos shall be mocked with vexation and infamous. This means that we the igbos, our being hated is divine and will never stop until the end of time

Wait, I don’t understand. You want the Belize people to drop their country and follow you?
Why do you think Igbos got to Belize? It was through slavary. Meaning Igbos in the past definitely participated actively in slavary. Because you don’t see this among Benin people or Agbor people. Where they go around finding a tribe of Agbor people in Australia. Or some other far off location.

The transatlantic slave trade was the biggest wealth transfer in recorded history and was conducted by various European nations to enrich themselves.
The slave ship industry alone was massive. Think about how many ships had to be built to transport Africans to the Americas. Slave ships were built in Britain, France, Netherlands, Portugal and other nations. Not even 1 ship was built in Iboland.
Financing slave ships was a major type of banking & finance. To raise the money 💰 required to build a ship, hire a crew, hire kidnappers, get guns and ammunition, feeding and so on was very expensive. It was a major investment. Barclays brothers, Lloyds of London were leaders in this field. Not 1 Igbo bank was involved. In fact Igbos didn’t even know about this kind of banking in those days.
There is so much more - but no Igbos were not players in the transatlantic slave trade - Igbos were kidnapped, transported and enslaved in the Americas to make Europe and America wealthy.
