Even though I am coming from Serbia, where Novak is a national hero, I need to admit, that Roger is definitely the greatest player ever, and for me is always pleasure to watch his matches...
this was a really great interview, he was so relaxed and open, as well as humble which some people seem to have forgotten about him. also great questions from macatee
It’s hard to believe that this 31 year old Roger Federer would go on to play in 4 more Wimbledon Finals, finishing runner up to Novak Djokovic in 2014 and 2015, while lifting his last two Wimbledon Titles in 2012 and 2017alongside two more titles at the Australian Open in 2017/2018 at the age of 36.
Best player ever and an inspiration to all the sports personalities too. Nole once admitted he learned from the defeats to roger and rafa .They made him what he is today.
What a great interview! I think Roger is selective about what he discloses to the press and public, but he is always honest and direct about what he chooses to say. He was so relaxed and thoughtful here -- and so grateful for his career and his family. He's earned his success and his wonderful spirit has earned him the admiration of many people around the world. Good job by Bill Macatee.
wow just listening to his words, he have no bit of arrogance at all or try to make himself high....he is always happy person.....when he is doing very little compared to achievement he had done in the past, he is completely satisfy with way he is.....roger u make me cry by your beautiful mind...it was the reason i started liking roger...i love u roger forever....
Roger is part of a dying breed of tennis players; he's all class and will be followed by the new generation who lack appreciation of looking good, having good tastes and knowing why they'er worthwhile. He appears to be a good role model and father for those cute girls of his and he seems to realize how important that is. I wish him and Mirka good health and a long life.
The man speaks four languages fluently, is learning Spanish/Swedish, has built a multi-million dollar brand and helps poor children all over the world with his foundation. He helped organize charity events like the Hit-for-Haiti and Rally for Relief that raised thousands of dollars for relief victims. If anything, a college degree would have slowed him down...plus he's a kicka** tennis player who's currently number 1 at 31.
Ridiculous the comemt of bomberchoi Federer speek more than four language, i'm sure that low percent of people speek your country idioms and english or just english. federer speek german, swiss-german,french, english, and brazillian portuguesse So please men go catch more to tell about federer.
