  • भारतीय रेलवे अधिक स्पीड और एक्सल लोड की रेल की ओर बढ़ रहा है, जिसके लिए सेल ने R260 ग्रेड विकसित करने के साथ ही सफलतापूर्वक उत्पादन शुरू कर दिया है। भारतीय । रेलवे 550 मेगा पास्कल से अधिक की उच्च शक्ति के साथ न केवल कठिन बल्कि और अधिक दबाव वाली रेल यातायात को सहन करने में सक्षम होगी बल्कि और अधिक टिकाऊ भी बनकर उभरेगी। सेल भारतीय रेलवे को यह रेल 260 मीटर लंबे वेल्डेड पैनल के रूप में आपूर्ति कर रही है।
    The new grade of rails rolled by SAIL-BSP is based on R 260 grade specifications issued by Indian Railways Research & Development wing (RDSO). R 260 grade specification issued by RDSO is more stringent than the European specifications on many parameters, including the hydrogen content of 1.6 ppm (max.) in steel as compared to 2.5 ppm (max.) specified in the European specification. SAIL/BSP has started producing the R260 rails from its new and modern Universal Rail Mill.

      Your effort is appreciated but it will be very knowledgeable if you give the impact on railway, at what speed railways can be run on this tracks, where where it is currently operating on, is this tracks will be used to replace entire track. You gave very technical knowledge with technical terms. Quite tough for those who do not belong feom engineering background. It's all are suggestions. Keep it up. You are doing great.       @@sanjeevm Unemployment in India during 2014-2019 was at an avg of 5.5%. While the unemployment in the years 2009-2014 was at an avg of 5.8%. If the unemployment levels are going down in an increasing population then that means jobs are increasing. Agar itna maths nahi aata toh unemployment hi hoga desh ka. Apne kaam pe dhyaan do, sarkar apna kaam karegi.

      The old tracks will be replaced with R260 type tracks which will be resistant to cracks and breakages due to hydrogen present in the steel matrix!.

      The old track will be broken up into pieces and will be used for feeding smaller (blast) furnaces or recycled for making specialised products like Twisted Torsteel or sheet metal products etc as per market demand!.No steel will be wasted!.It is believed this new steel track will serve as much as 15-20 years!.

      Depends upon railways where they use but this rails mainly made for supporting high speed and high axle load so metro doesn't need this but Golden quadrilateral route must need this type of long life rails .

    Very good information . Thank you . But main thing, what about section details ? Whether section is kept as per Old CR 60 Or changed ? Our understanding is for broad gauge tracks it is 90 lb/ yard rail was being used and now it is changed to 105lb/ yard and in some cases 120lb/ yard . What way CR2 60 different from basic ( lb/ yard )section as mentioned above .

      The all technical detail about this rail we are know but we don't know where railway try this rails first so when this rails is placed in a particular section than all speed limits of this section may be change so this changes give us the more reliable and real word information about the capability of this rails

      Vande bharat is already capable of running on 160kmph. But there is some problem with the propulsion system which has caused the train to be limited on 130kmph. Successive rakes will be better

      @@vofficial170i don't understand. The current signalling system is perfectly capable of supporting trains running on 160kmph.
      And yes there is a problem with the propulsion system of Vande bharat express that's why the previous tender was cancelled and new tender was passed so the problems with the current rake could be eradicated

    In our Indian operating conditions with higher speeds,higher axle loads,greater traffic density and higher traction power,the earlier tracks used to wear out soon and ruptures were regular!.In R 260 steel tracks the following problems -- changing shapes and conditions,rolling contact fatigue (RCF),corrugation etc are reduced / minimised to great extent. The %of dissolved hydrogen in steel matrix is kept
