Unimog 404 engine replacement.

The Unimog 404 had an old beaten up engine, so it was time for a "new" one.
We've got ourselves a NOS M180 crate engine from the bundeswher.
And gave the old mog some much-needed tlc.
A new radiator was fitted and a lot of rust was removed.
And much, much more was done to get her running again.

sounds like a impressive swap.
the 3-point mounts on the unimog are a bit odd indeed. but it makes for more flexibility.

We did it ourselves. With just a couple of friends, some beer, and a weekend filled with greasy hands.

@@sergiisylkov5040 Bad compression and a lot of noise coming from the top. It was cheaper to get a crate engine that to rebuild the original.
