Always great to see other owners fight with the spring in the break system. Bought myself a proper break kit for drum brakes which made it a lot easier. Replaced the liners on my S404.114 this spring and it helped a lot with the new refurbished break liners, they are great (thx Andy!)

The "return spring" goes in the "wheel cylinder" (kind of a dumb name for it but that's what we silly english speakers call it).

Hola buenas me gustaría ponerle frenos neumáticos al Unimog S 404 sería perfecto ya q se sufre mucho con frenos hidráulicos alguna forma o alguien acoplo frenos neumáticos.
I haven't heard of any one putting air brakes on a 404, tho adding a brake booster might help. After rebuilding the original brakes every thing works fine for me.

yea the brakes are always a bit of a challenge, but we like a bit of a challenge sometimes :P
