Got an A1 combo in the anniversary sale, it's due to arrive in about 3 hours, definitely going to be watching this video again to set it up
The A1 is by far the best 3D printer I ever had. It works so smooth and prints flawlesly. And if you are prepared to sacrifice time for quaity - the 0,2 nozzle and a layer height of about 0.08 makes the layer lines almost invisible.

Absolutely, great printer, though I have a preference for the X1-Carbon thanks to the extra features and the enclosure. But having both is "da double bomb."
You are compressing the heatbed cable using your packaging support method while attaching the cables underneath. They suggest putting it on the edge of a table with the front pointing down and the cable up. People doing it wrong and crushing the cable led to the first recall. I got my first A1 in January and kept using it when the recall came because I followed the directions and didn't crush the cable--and it has worked flawlessly since. I just took it back to Microcenter and had it replaced per the recall with a new one (along with the $120 credit, which they gave me as a refund against the original purchase, as well as crediting me the difference in original price and current price so I got an almost $200 refund on my card! The differences I can see between old and new is a beefier cable wrapped in a sleeve, a warning tag, and a plastic standoff, none of which appear visible on your example.
i think this A1 is old version ? because have not cable protector on the back , also heatbed cable not netting style.
Yes, the new ones have been modified since the bed issue happened! Mine is an original still.

Got an a1 as my first printer it's sat in my cupboard until my bday just wanted to ask how straightforward is the a1 for a person like me who is new to 3d printing.

Can you get longer PTFE Tubing so you can put the AMS in a drybox?
I don't see why not but it's only as far as the connecting cable goes to power the AMS.
Those spools from Bambu are poorly wound can you use others?
Yes! Any spool that will fit on the AMS will work!

If I had waited 36 hours to buy my A1 Combo, this would have been helpful. But since it is my 6th FDM I probably was all right. For what it is worth your reviews and videos on the Ender 5 Pro were hugely helpful when that was my "new" printer. Always enjoy your videos, easy to follow and understand. Keep 'em coming!

I just got my printer and I think they shipped the wrong power supply cable?? It looks nothing like the one in the diagrams and it certainly doesn’t plug in- I’m also worried about damaging the prongs on the hardware. Has this happened before to anyone else??

When installing the PTFE tubing into the filament hub (top of the hotend) does the positioning matter? Should filament 1 be front left, back left, front right, or back right?

Be careful laying it on its back. The power cable is bent in your video, this is what caused the problems and recalls. Bambu did some work ti fix the issue but better to be safe.

Just got my 2nd a1, my 1st with the ams, great video thank you for the help..got it going...no more ender 3 pro or v2 for me..
Important to know, if you swap over from a mini ant want to keep using your old ams lite, you need to order the longer PTFE tubes, especially for the top mount. The screw kit doesn’t hurt either.
This is all I needed!! I didnt have the AMS but it was self explanatory.

Had to switch to another assembly video unfortunately. You just weren't thorough enough in showing what should be done, no tips + tricks, no closeups etc.
