Fixing a Mercedes 722.3 Transmission Shift Rod Seal Leak

This leak is becoming more common as these transmissions age. The seal is located behind the neutral safety switch on the left side of the transmission. Kent shows what is required to remove and replace this seal. Common to most 1980's automatic transmissions 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 300SD 300SDL etc.
