I honestly wasn't planning to share about Math-U-See Beta until early next year, however, regrouping is a tricky concept and I have been flooded with questions about it. It is so much easier to just cover all of the questions in a video. I may share an updated video later in the year. This is a big concept math year in our house, fractions, and regrouping! Math-U-See from @DemmeLearningPage has truly been such a good fit for our girls. I love that @timberdoodleco introduced them to us. The simple pages and the ease to adapt the program if you need more practice make it very effective for us. I love their special block and the online platform. My favorite will always be the video instruction provided by a math pro!

We love Math U See also! We tried a few other curriculum, but ended back where we started and now know we have made the right choice. We don't worry about memorizing the facts either. My daughter is in per-algebra now and that has not slowed her down. Thanks for sharing!

We love this program so much ❤️. I feel there is so much review each week on the last few worksheets that it boarders on spiral/mastery. My oldest just learned regrouping a few weeks ago and had 0 issues. Also because of all the review, I feel her "mastery" of her math facts just came naturally and didn't need beaten into her head lol.

We recently finished premier and I was so surprised at how fast she got through it!! She did not want to slow down at all!! There were days that she did all 7 pages because she enjoyed it that much!! I was worried about what to do next if I should get the Alpha now or just do a lot of review work on what she learned so far... But I don't want her to get board with math since it's something she really enjoys doing now... Thank you for everything you share!! 💖💖
Alpha can take awhile if you require fact mastery. Maybe get her started on that.

Do you find with two kids in the program you need two sets of the integer blocks or is one sufficient?
We've done well with 1. They are a few levels apart and usually aren't doing math at the same time.
Do you think you can only use the teacher manual or do you have to use everything ?
There aren't many practice problems in the teacher manual. I would say you could skip the test booklet and the blocks if needed. The DVD basically shows what the teachers guide says, but it does have the answer key in the back.
