One of the best interviews with Paul Gilbert. Your questions were interesting and you obviously knew quite a lot about one of the best shredders of all time. Paul is such an enormous mine of musical inspiration, knowledge and fun approach. He's humble, goofy and funny at the same time. I really enjoyed it.

Came here from the Yamaha THR5 Paul endorsed back then. I guess he pretty much just switched from the Yamaha THR5 to the Spark Mini for practicing and making video lessons. That makes sense, I've had both and the Spark Mini is more versatile and also even more portable.

I was so excited about this PG/PG collaboration! Paul Gilbert and Positive Grid did a fabulous job. Ive always wanted an amp with new features but didn't really know what i wanted to try, this technology with the amp and the app are genius. I am having so much fun checking out thousands of presets and making some of my own. Great interview! 🎸😝🤟

    this is an awesome interview.
perfection is the enemy of greatness. as long as you're accurate, worry less about speed, and focus more more on feel. the music and the songs that stand the test of time and memorability are not made of speed shredding. they're made of tone and emotion and texture and theme. figure out your own style and run with it. there's nothing wrong with being influenced but don't spend too long trying to imitate your favorite guitarist. find your voice.

So glad that they gave Leslie West & the Mountain Climbing! album praise. Amazing album basically unknown to this younger generation.

Are the Paul Gilbert presets going to be available for early buyers of the Spark Mini?

I just bought the PG Spark mini and the Paul Gilbert presets are available. You can also access Zakk Wylde presets and thousands more and you can create your own. This amp and app are well worth it. I have been having a blast with this technology. 🎸😝🤟

What's the reverb in that room? Sounds crazy.

To me it looks like the dragon is blocking the grill holes? It must be light enough to not impede sound..
