    In Lychee, when adding supports to a symmetrical object, i.e. a circle, you can use Mirror and it will place a second support for you, cutting your support placing time by half.

    One of my fears about buying a resin printer, is you could buy it, then find the LCD screen needs replacement, but the manufacturer has discontinued it, meaning you can't get it working again. While a resin 3D printer would be ideal for my plastic model kit making hobby (I generally build 1:25 scale car kits), an FDM would probably be used more for my RC hobby...

    for the tires, I always wonder what's the main advantage to rubber vs paint , this goes for regular kits as well. I heard that rubber can change over time, whereas painted ones ( espoecially when protected with clearcoat) should likely stay the same
    never knew there was a rubber like resin, this is great to know and might be useful

    Your compressor has an airflow of 17 liters/ min but on internet I see that the airflow of the airbrush that you are using is around 25 liters/min max. Is that a problem because I have a compressor that produces 20-23 liters/min and I am considering to also buy a mr hobby ps-290 but I don’t know if it will operate good enough?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  3 роки тому +2

      That is probably only the max working pressure there. It is suitable for a 0.6 nozzle max, and has a maximum capacity of 6 bars pressure.
      I spray at 2 bar. So am not even close to using the compressor to the max.
      Think it should be totaly fine. Mine is. So with your setup being even more capable i don’t see why it would not handle it.

    You seem to have a very large extra step in going from one software to another. Why not just import the model into Chitubix, slice and sent to the printer? You can add a printer and change parameters easily if your exact printer is not listed yet. The slicer you use looks simplistic, compared to Chitubox.
