Good afternoon Architect Taylor. I truly feel like I am improving my knowledge in Revit by watching more of your videos. I have always been a Revit Person. I am completely fascinated with the Software.

This is very simple but effective. Thanks. This will be very helpful in my space planning for our multi family projects.

That was cool! Will definitely be keen to use that in the future. I tried dabbling with masses once and only once. Your approach is much more awesome 🥇

Just came from the deck tutorial, amazing stuff. Extremely helpful! Learned a lot of little workflows and tools I had no idea about. Keep making more, so good!

Thank you. My only suggestion would be that the video doesn't necessarily need to be 38 minutes long.

Hi Mike, thanks for the tutorials and sharing of your passion. If I am thinking right, this should also be possible to represent the graphics on multiple levels for a multistory project?

I've been thinking about making this exact thing for years now. Just wasn't sure about the best way to make it sized and shaped 'cause I'm going to make octa, hexa and triangular ones also. Thank you!

Great tip! How about using shared parameters to read room's height, width & length for automatic initial sizing of dropped in family?

Hi Mr. Taylor. This is a great idea for the conceptual phase. I would like to have in the annotation the surface of the "room". hoe can we achieve this? The volume is already in the option bar, but not the square meters.
    Thank you!

Cool Idea... So I did some testing and it works. Since the Length and the Width parameters are part of the family... you can also make a parameter (area) that multiplies the Length and Width. It automatically calculates the AREA for you. You would have to make it a Shared Parameter if you want it to appear in a Tag. It works like a champ!

@@miketaylor8211 Thank you so much for the response! I tried it and it worked!
I am not quite good creating Formulas in Revit and I had to find the correct way to type it in. It turned out i needed to write not the full word, but just the first letter.
      Best regards,
      Eva

@@123nyanna I am sooo glad you got it to work! With mine I made the parameter a TEXT... so I can add any word I want. I am not sure why yours was shortened to only one letter... perhaps because the Label field was too short?

@@miketaylor8211 I created a shared parameter in the properties of the family. May be i did it in another way than you have described..I think I misunderstood.
I entered the formula like in here:
