    Hi Kyle, came across your channel and as a Revit teacher for 10 years, you are doing a great job of explaining how to use Revit's tools. Well done!

    Hi Kyle, I have been working as an Architect for more than 15 tears. I was introduced to BIM in Germany working with another program, Allplan. I decided to change to Revit because is more used worldwide and your chanel has been really helpfull. Thank you for all your work!

    You hit it right on the money when you said “it’s better to get the wall thickness created early rather then later”. I currently work this way as a CAD student and it is the biggest headache when a house needs to be 30x40’ but my dimensions come out to 30’2 1/16”x40’5 1/2”. These things are very important in the industry. Thank you for the great videos I can’t express how much you’ve helped me

If anyone is seriously wanting to learn the ins and outs of revit I recommend you do the same. This guy is a true professional and shows you the correct way to do things. Phenomenal content 👏🏽 👏🏽

    Roof sheathing goes over the top of the fascia. How do you do this in Revit?

    Quick question! Say you want to make a standarized detail in revit. Which you can import to a project. Which approach is the best way to do this?

    If you have a ton of detail components in one legend view space, is there a way to pick and choose specific ones to show in different sheets (still pulling from the same legend)

    Mate, how do you Auto align Section markers, grid heads using the annotation crop ? Reason i asked was because i did something in Revit accidently and for some reason the outcome is by dragging the view crop with my annotation crop turned on over section and grid heads, they automatically adjust to align with the crop view line where ever i adjusted the location - its amazing. Would like to know so i can do the settings so the x- axis grids heads and section heads do the same as they currently dont. The Y-access does this which i accidently. I am stumped but its an amazing feature without having to individually drag and align each section head to align.

    I never used these methods because I can't seem to make things fit in my details, like wrapping the text, is there a way to do this? I also like using arc leaders another thing I think is not available. But I get it, off course not doing this is not taking advantage of revit properly, also text very far from the leader arrow, is there a way to adjust this? Ill try to justify in the family

    • @kylesinko
      @kylesinko  Рік тому +1

      I'm not sure about wrapping the text. Unfortunately you can't use arc leaders either. You can move how far the text is from the arrow in the family, which you may have already discovered. I think the benefits definitely outweigh the limitations. Cheers
