This is me installing some AccentGlowLED cup holders from www.accentglowled.com
These are great LED Cup Holder Lights for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

I used your tutorial to completely replace my center console because my cup holder was broken (the part where the screws connected to the console was completely detached so the entire console had to be replaced). Did it in a little over an hour and only for $100 (the price of the console- $85, socket wrench set- $10, and plastic panel remover- $10).

Small tip for anyone without a plastic panel tool, you can simply tape off the top of your screwdriver so it's less abrasive and lessens the chance of it scratching something.

So Loco, what happens if you spill coffee or water in the cup holder? does it effect or have any sort of interaction with the wires or perhaps the glues that hold the black plastic object with the led light in place??? Great video by the way...

I like ur video. u articulate & explain things well....:-) also, I watched a Ford focus video earlier.They upgraded front end parts,(headlights & grill assembly) They didn't bother taking the time to clean up.One would think the point would be to make the car nicer? keeping anything clean keeps it nicer, much longer!!!

I want to do this with my 2015 Elantra Limited.. but the stick shift doesnt look the same.. i cant seem to find the pin that releases the shifter knob.. any ideas?
couldnt you add a toggle switch so u can turn them on and off when u want? use like a unibit or a dremel to mkae the hole for it? just curious if that would work

Wow awesome video! Much better installation tutorial than others I've seen on UA-cam. Are those light cup pads water resistant? I would add some type of sealer below the drilled hole, I'm always scared that water would somehow sip through the hole and into the wires. Idk paranoid i guess.
+Joshua Luzuriaga not sure if they are water resistant or not. I guess adding silicone would be a good idea.......just never though about it.

Do the lights cut on when you open the door? I figured the harness you wired them on to was for some kind of center console lights that might cut on when you open the door.

Why would you skin the wires ? Why would you not just use T Clips and do it properly ?
I’ve never really had good luck with T clips. Not that they don’t work, but for me I never get a solid connection with them.

Save yourself the hassle. There are some tint shops mechanics who have the experience with this stuff. You might come across one who wouldn't mind installing it for you. Of course, they'll charge you a price. I've gotten it done
