Great information and well presented. I live in Perth and have access to the lesser known region of Swan Valley (excellent wines) and Margaret River. Many people don't realise that Australia actually has some of the oldest vines in the world and due to the unique terroir and climate, I consider some wines to be like Old World wines on steroids. I have bought several cases of wine from Taylors Wines (no affiliation) which would absolutely crush the current "popular" international Australian wine market. As an example, Taylors Wines in South Australia won the International Champion 2022 award from VINUS for the 2020 Estate Shiraz label, and last year received a perfect 100 point score from the VINUS panel for the 2022 Taylors Heritage Label Shiraz. I was lucky to get a case direct from the cellar, before major restaurants around the world bought all remaining stock and sold out within days. The following is obviously my own biased opinion, but the Yellow Tail red wine sold in America is like having the worst tasting American beer (according to US statistics) representing American beers. No one I know touches that stuff, which is why it is shipped off (or should I sarcastically say deported) to you guys. It would be interesting to see how Jonathan Ross views this.

Hey! Thank you for watching and sharing all of that AMAZING knowledge on your home 😍🙌🏻🍷 I’m so jealous you live in one of the best wine regions in the world (imo!!). And I completely agree that we don’t get enough top quality Aussie wine here in the US. I’m not familiar with Taylor Wines, but will definitely look them up. Thank you for sharing!! 👏🏼🙌🏻
