Aw shucks! Thank you so much Agnese! Absolutely stoked that you enjoyed that Nebbiolo! Definitely one of the more fun suites of wines that we've ever sent anyone! So glad you got to taste through some of the 'new' Australia!!!
re: the Yarra Valley - is one of Australia's major wine regions. Well established before the 2nd world war during which all the vineyards, bar one, was dug up to uitilise the land for the war effort.
Ngl, even from Sydney they are difficult to locate, great spotlight! Personally great fan of Ravensworth! Their style has the elegance of old world and fruity from new world! Luke Lambert Nebbiolo always disappears a week after they got released too!
Great video. I am so pleased you enjoyed the wines from Australia. The quality of wines from Australia is now very high. The diversity of styles and varieties is also great impressive.
We broke Agnese! 🥳 And there was much joy 🤣🤣 PS: The Aussies are good at drumming up enthusiasm for their wine industry. Now all they need is distribution to match (IDK what I'm talking about here BTW, I just know that I can never find the wines the Aussies are talking about. I _do_ quite literally live on the opposite side of the globe though)
You are real Queen of wine On youtube !! Have a friends from australien Show her your youtube cannel She said Love her She knows what She Talking about ❤ Love you from sweden and australien 🎉🎉🎉❤
Great video and a welcome collaboration between No Sediment and Wine for the People. Aussie wine that gets exported often ( though not always) falls into either mass market plonk or ultra premium. So it's great to see those lowish alcohol, cleaner, and more natural wines. This category is pretty exciting, but it is hard to find outside of Oz and even harder to find in Europe. There were some real gems here and Agnes. Are you using the 100-point scale? OMG😂!
Last time I did use 100p scale, it was an accident. And yet people received it so well, that it felt strange to change it back. So I stuck with it. 🫣 I am still not a fan of this system. 😄😅
Thank you so much!!! It would be totally awesome if Australian wine distribution was that little bit better - so the world could see more than just ultra premium or plonk!
Australia has absolutely amazing wine varieties, and with such a high standard in recent years too. I am so glad living here in Sydney, enjoying the local wine with beautiful Australia landscape and sunshine.
Do a tasting of Tasmania wines. They are interesting and reflective of their terrior. Whites are more diverse than the reds because it’s quite cold there.
Love this! As an Australian and a fan of you and Wineforthepeople, it was so good getting your opinion on some of our wines. But do yourself a favour and scratch us off your bucket list & get down here and try them for yourself, you will love it!
Yes, I have. I have been fortunate enough to taste it on several occasions, but in all honesty, other labels from Penfold’s have left me more impressed. 🙏🏻
Thankyou for showcasing the diversity of Australian wine. It's a pity that most of the world only see the supermarket wines that we produce and doesn't get to experience the great range that we have to offer. I haven't had any of these particular wines but may need to look up the Luke Lambert Nebiolo and the Kroos Chenin Blanc. Thankfully I am starting to find a bit more Grenache of a higher quality.
This thanks should be sent to the guys from Wine For The People, they are the ones who sent me the samples all the way from Australia. It would have taken some time for me to get to Australia. 🇦🇺 hopefully soon though! 🤞
I was living in Sydney for couple of years and visiting Hunter Valley regularly. I missed the Hunter sauvignon completely. I drank it a lot and I always thought it's simple fruity wine - but I didn't never taste it matured, always young. Wow, I missed the point completely.
So much good wine coming out of Australia. Tasmania to NSW to Margret River. Massive Chenin Blanc fan here, still, bubbly, sweet, aged……Great video. And, yeah, can’t get any of these here. 😢
Thanks for spotlighting some unusual wines from Australia! And, I hope you don’t feel defeated by the 100 point system. I hate it, but do pay attention to it. As long as you have integrity you have no worries. 🍷🙏🌺
I feel a little bit, and most fun part was that some was asking what would be the equivalent in 10p scale. 😂😂😂 The thing is 7 is a nice wine 🍷 and I think it gives more room. 🥲 But my mistake so I continue. 😂😂
Absolutely love your descriptions; dissecting the aromas into inviting and intriguing multi-faceted components, describing the taste inclusive of most importantly the body, but also temperature, and how the Aussie acidity works with each product… and presenting enthusiastically it with such joy!!!
dear Agnes, thank U so much for bringing US such wonderful contents.. every time I Watch these kind of video, It makes winder to leave and go to Discover these beautyfull countries with unic grapes and flavors! Thank U again. ❤️

Believe it or not Noah will be there next week spreading the good word of Aussie wine!@@GlennReed-r2t
Thank You for reaching out! It was such a fun tasting! 🍷
Dearest Agnese! This is the Best ❤ Australian Wine 🍷 Video in my opinion I've ever seen; from your forever most ardent Canadian 🇨🇦 fan. 😊 ❤️
It was awesome wasn't it?!

The Jantz sparkling is a fantastic wine, and a great value
We can make this happen ;)

Have you tasted Penfolds grange? (the premium wines.) Aged in american white oak often produces a certain sharpness and sting to the taste.
Yes, I have. I have been fortunate enough to taste it on several occasions, but in all honesty, other labels from Penfold’s have left me more impressed. 🙏🏻
@@NoSediment Lucky you ! (my premium Penfolds are still in my wine cooler.) Thanks for the info,i will try out other labels from this brand.

Grenache is getting better and better - so many good ones to find these days! Especially from McLaren Vale ;)
Luke Lambert always does well with his nebbiolo and his crudo range
Mīļā pīrāgs Agnese!❤ Sūtu daudz mīlestības no Kanādas. ❤ 🍷

No! It doesn't matter - young or old - you didn't miss the point, the fact you supported local means a lot to those producers!
Agnese tu vienmēr ❤️ būsi mans mīļākais vīnzinis. Es nekad nebeigšu tevi dievināt.

Piedod man lūdzu Agnese.❤❤❤❤
Huge scores here! Im curious to see how other wines score on the 100 point system compared to the 10
I just converted myself to 100p scale, should I go back? 🥹
