No The Lawsuit will work because of what they were doing with Patreon. Essentially hiding features behind a paywall in an emulator is not legal in any way. So thats probably why they have closed. because Nintendo doesn't have a case at all if it wasn't for the Patreon. The TOTK Leaking argument is fucking stupid
They killed it along with Citra. On top of that, they killed the Wii U/3DS Eshop, expecting us to rebuild our libraries from on their new consoles. One of the things I like about PC Gaming (this includes emulation alongside Steam/GOG/Epic) is that in 10yrs from now or even if I decide to go from Acer to HP (or even from Windows to macOS), I don't have to rebuild my library from scratch.
I think theres other companies that are doing this. But none that taken it this far as to put duct tape on someones mouth then apply super glue to the layers of duct tape

I agree with you on persevering. But I wouldn't dare emulate new systems that you can find in the store. Also cause though roms and emulation is good, at least for my laptop it's never 100% smooth. I rather play the organic game on the system.

i completely agree with you on emulation man. It's sad that thousands of games across the decades are unavailable to play because of two reasons. The games are unavailable. The hardware is unavailable. It's always a matter of time until emulation on PC is necessary. Microsoft is proud of their backwards compatibility, but I say they suck. I play those unpopular games. PS5 isn't perfect at playing PS4 games. Completely disregarding PS1, PS2, and PS3 games also. I am against piracy of modern games though. If it's available to conveniently buy and play on available hardware, people shouldn't pirate.

IMO a new Switch should only cost $250 and the games no more than $50. They overcharge and most people are not willing to pay that much. They're not getting their money's worth.
YUZU should work on a secondary company and tweek the emulator forcing Nintendo to file another lawsuit. If Nin wins the first suit, you're likely out of business so doing this will delay that if you do lose. Do what they do with synthetic drugs. Keep changing the formula, or open new businesses that are separated through legal means.

It's sad Nintendo isn't giving players an option to run games at 4k60fps. Yet Yuzu runs em at what you want. still not able to get yuzu roms up and running, Nintendo needs to give people options to run the games at higher resolution and frame rates . Yet they're not.and they wanna take yuzu out. Its backwards

You see when Tears Of The Kingdom got leaked YuZu gave it support which allowed people to pirate it and it was pirated by so many platers because they couldn't wait and they had they're save files and everything before the game even came out which hurt Nintendo's profit so YES Nintendo had the rights to act because YuZu delivery gave the game support when it was leaked rather than released
If it wasn't for that Nintendo wouldn't have tried to take it to court.

Just make an emulation app for ALL of your consoles, charge a fee for a particular console emulation (kinda like Netflix) and you will be making more money than the latest Switch 2.
