This an excellent Mars Volta performance from 2003 featuring great performances and energy from the whole band.

40:29 microphone appears out of no air. one of the greatest live sets in history with 3 songs. Jon Theodore fucking kills it. such a great drummer
That has to be the most chaotic yet tight rhythm section in human existence. Juan and Jon are absolute madmen but are still able to keep things together, It is mind-blowing and ridiculous how good they are

It's what keeps bringing me back to their old shows. This band created truly magical music
Queens of the stone age aren't really exploding true Jon´s potential.
All I know, is if I was the guitar player I'd do my sets on a 3'x3' rug. If the base of that mic stand breeched the parameter, I'd drop the guitar, pull out a stun gun, and go teach wiry lookin' sumbitch a thing or two about my reasonable expectations of on stage safety!
I'd like to think Josh Homme would do the same.

Friggin spectacular!! Electrifying performance, and the best line up in my opinion withJon Theodore and Ikey Owens. My personal favorite era of TMV, but I still love everything they've done!!
