Sarnor or the night watch seems to be the best target. But you'd probably need to create a few parties with your companion before to have a better chance of winning
From my experience to have the name stick for the weapon, you need to wait after you forge it, but I think one of your crafting mods is preventing it from opening the stat screen where you can rename it after you craft in vanilla
I disagree with you on the point of bloat in the smithing skill, because of how much people enjoy skins and that the small difference of stats between difference in looks is like a balance attempt between skins. Now you could have a system where you simply choose the damage and length factors, then add the skin on top. But, that looses the realism factor the game is going for. So, imo, the only answer is more open modding tools. I.E the devs allow modders to change how smithing works as they wish, you will end up with my previous point, but it ups the fun factor for the non-purists
The example I showcased in the video should be enough to bring my point across. It's okay to disagree if that's how you feel, I just think that "slightly thinner blade" vs "slightly thicker blade" are poor choices for "skins".
man i really miss the mod where your strikes would go through enemies. loving the playthrough have watched all of your game of thrones playthorughs. has your wife gotten pregnant yet?
Maybe the lands beyond the wall and the Night's Watch. Maybe you can start there if you want land in Westeros

To make the name stick on a crafted weapon, enter the name then click 'Save design' 😊
