Thank you for this video for people with combination skin like me! I had requested it! Also, glass skin or luminous makeup is not for everyone. We all have different skin types and concerns. Real and natural skin includes wrinkles, acne, sun damage, freckles, etc. Wearing the correct beauty products suited to your skin type is essential. I love watching all your videos. You are a lovely human being.
Lovely, fresh, natural makeup. For me the step that I skip is the concealer, I don't have dark circles and now I have age lines for being on my 50s, so it is a win win. I never wanted to really understand the need for concealer, the how many shades lighter I should get it, they were to thick of a texture, wait for it a minute or two to settled... I can go on and on about the cons. So, I don't own any concealers, and since I live in a place with the full bloom 4 seasons, if I ever want I can always apply my winter foundation as concealer 😄
Absolutely love you Andrea! And I’m so happy to see your little clips at the end, I have missed them so much. Please bring them back, they always make me happy! Can you please do a video showing someone like me, how to deal with the problem of makeup oxidizing and changing colors on me? I just turned 70 , and have struggled with this my entire life, from foundations, eye shadows always turning too dark, and even lipsticks change colors on me. The people that work the counter have watched things change colors on me, right before their eyes, and we have tried many different colors , sometimes, for hours, and still struggle to get the right items. I have tons and tons of makeup, and I can tell you, that not one thing is exactly right for me, it just gets me by. Please help me, and others who struggle with this aggravating and costly problem. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and your life with us, I appreciate you, and love you.. you remind me of my own daughter, and you are as beautiful as she is, inside and out!❤

I have combo skin with a super oily tee zone and I need my makeup to look good and last all day long. All of those are reasons why I never hopped on the dewy skin trend.
Imo in a few years everyone will look back on how slippery everyone looks and will wonder why it was so popular.

I love your video Andreea, thank you it was wonderful. The cloud look you created is beautiful, it's soft and less is definitely more. I've taken to using my Hourglass ambient lighting palette as a highlighter as well as a powder. Being of a certain vintage, some highlighters are so bright and glittery they look silly on me. I do love the look that the Saie glowy gel gives though. I don't even contour much these days either. A light dusting of bronzer and blusher and that's it 💞

Can you pretty please help me with my mascara? No matter what I do, it always winds up transferring to my upper eyelids throughout the day. I do not have long lashes, and I don’t even curl them. I’ve tried eye primers and setting powder. Am I just too oily? Lol. I also love Lash Clash now since you brought it to my attention and it is so hard to remove. But I love it, and it lasts ALL day. Do you recommend a specific eye makeup remover for YSL Lash Clash? I know I have to use Chanel’s eye makeup remover to remove Chanel’s mascara. Thanks! ❤

Love the look and no, you do not look 38 in the least. I would like to suggest a video where you demonstrate products and proper application for women over 60. This particular season presents its own set of challenges with thinner, fine lined skin around the eyes (where concealer becomes an unruly monster) and generally all over dry skin. Illuminating products only tend to highlight the skins flaws and powder aggravates the dryness. Please and thank you!

Love this video! Glass skin was only for people with exceptional skin and even then it often looked weird in real life. I’m 64 and even though I have good skin, it’s much better with a soft matte finish. Yay Andreea for showing us a beautiful and wearable makeup!! You’re the best. 💕💕💕

Of course I love this look! I also want to say that I wouldn’t think in a million years that you’re older than 38! The trend I would like to see is what is called “underpainting”. I have intense dark areas on my very white skin and for me will be very helpful, so as for the people with skin problems like melisma, vitiligo, with birthmarks. Thank you for this video! ❤
Yes, me too. I'm wondering if colour correction is better for mature skin than concealers.
@@CenturyRide Ulta told me not to use color corrector… just concealer, but I don’t feel comfortable w/o color corrector. I skipped concealer today so I too am interested in this question. Nina Ubhi’s staple has been underpainting for quite some time.

Love the look. I have very dry wrinkled under eyes with very dark circles. Maybe a video about how to best disguise them without them looking dry.
For me the following technique was kinda life changing (same problem):
Apply a good moisturizer / eye cream and your sunscreen and let that sit for a good 10 minutes … the longer the better.
Use an under eye primer, I use the one from Milk.
Use a color corrector. The one from NARS is amazing, very thin and not drying or as heavy as the Becca / Smashbox one.
Then use a satin / dewy foundation instead of concealer as your concealer. I use the NARS light reflecting one and it is perfect for that.
Set this with a strong setting spray (the only ones that worked for me were the Urban Decay one and the one from Charlotte Tilbury ).
Use a under eye setting powder. I love the one from Laura Mercier.
That might sound like a bit crazy for just the under eyes, but trust me, it looks so good and lasts so good.
You do look so young and sweet like this but you also look sophisticated and sexy with the sculpting of contour and bronzer. I believe each has its place regardless of trends. Natural vs glam, day vs evening... Beautiful any way you choose.
Andrea - this is so useful for combination skin. Need more your advice on products for combination skin. Maybe this can be new video idea 💡 Why sometimes after applying cream blush - later in the day it creases and looks like dirt 🤷🏼♀️ ( layers in order: Armani power fabric; armani setting powder ; cream blush milk or kjaer weis; TF highlighter) could be the products or simply a skin reaction not friendly to the complexions? I love how you know what is modern or not, especially when applying blush. I was actually doing something close to what you did around the 15 minute mark... I'll definitely try your method.
I do add another step, that goes against any logic but works in a superb way : I apply the blush under the whole brow, and a tiny bit on the chin. It gives an instant healthy looking finish

A video on skin prep with current products would be so nice! Best products to prep skin before makeup: serum, spf, moisturizer, eye cream, primer, brightener, then foundation… I know they should all be used but which products work well under makeup and which order to use them? I just feel like Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist has created a whole generation of girls trying to “magically change” the shape of their noses, create cheekbones, etc, and really it’s just layers of junk…& the process creates self loathing. My problem with foundation is: no matter how well and much I use a scrubber, I still get "fuzzy peeled" looking skin when I spread it. Tried with a spong, tried with a brush, tried with hands: my skin still doesn't get smooth, I always end up remove everything and use a concealer only on red spots/imperfection. 😥😢
I think I know what you mean. No matter how much I exfoliate and moisturize it can happen to me too, esp if my face is damp. I use a very very tiny amount of foundation and only apply it in spots where I need it. I don’t apply it below my cheekbones and I use a foundation brush. And this is going to freak every makeup artist out…I use a dry sponge to go over that to blend it into the areas where I didn’t put anything so there isn’t a line of demarcation. Yep. A dry sponge. They’re going to come for me! 😂 It helps remove the excess. It prob removes half of what I just put on. I just use the cheap bag of sponges from the drugstore too. But I use Chanel foundation, which spreads super easily (the hydrating one).
@@rosalind4444 if it works for you and it doesn't leave you with a "two tone" face, that's great and we don't matter if someone will loose their mind on it ahahah 😆 at the end, you're doing what I do too: apply corrections only in little spots. I guess "full face foundation" just doesn't work for us 😮💨 i've been playing with makeup for 20 years almost and spoken to a lot of mua (and/or watched videos and tutorials) but not a single advice worked for me 🤷♀ (exfoliate, try with damp skin, try with dry skin, do not apply cream before, apply more cream and so on.....nothing worked)

I love this look because it’s so much easier. I wanted to love the hourglass concealer but it looks so dry on me. I have dark circles and my under eye tends to be dry. Maybe I need a good eye serum and better eye cream. What do you recommend @aliandreea? Also what powder should I use for it not show my creases and fine lines?

I would like to get some more knowledge on what and how to cover a face that is affected by fiery red cheeks, something a little like rosacea. I have tried some creams that are green and which are supposed to help reduce redness, but for me it is not enough. I've also tried different serums to calm down red and irritated skin, but it's like they do the exact opposite of more redness and not reducing the redness. I need to apply more blush and bronzer to cover my redness. I've seen your video on how to apply blush and bronzer and yes, I'm completely wrong with that because I apply way too much bronzer, but then my redness just isn't covered. Please help

Always love your makeup routine , but the dark outline of the lips is not a attractive to me ... I've seen it now numerous times in your routines, and it brings too much attention to the lips , and it's not positive .. looks rather clownish!

one thing I am struggling right now with makeup is how to make my eyeshadows and blush go together. I tend to like neutral/cool shades on my eyes but use warm blush shades. I also feel like when I'm done applying makeup that something is missing - but I don't know what.

Se găsește sigur in România dar și pe Amazon sau EBay… Eu locuiesc in Uk și am încercat multe produse de acest gen(unele scumpe rău) dar nu m au ajutat deloc. Acest ser chiar face minuni.
