I installed the z26 pad & rotor kit on my '16 Charger R/T & think it's well worth the $400 I bought the kit for. @ about 50K miles, the rear brakes would squeal like crazy no matter what pads/rotors I replaced it with when it was stock. As long as you do the break-in procedure, you should be fine! Just hit 100K miles with the kit & no complaints. Hope this helps fellow Mopar families!

Glad you liked them, like I said in chat a couple months back, they’re well worth it.

I think they're so smooth that people feel they don't have the same stopping power. They do. It's just they don't bite hard initially. But they will stop when you need them too. But these feel smooth af and don't dust and are quiet. Just bed them in, a few times if u have to, and then give them a few days. They'll be up to snuff

All ceramic material brake pads have less bite than your semi metallic but once you adjust your leg or foot pressure to your braking they perform much better than stock they're easier on your rotors there's virtually no brake dust or noise and my front ceramic pads have lasted for 2 years.

i got the z26 on my Jeep SRT... i totally agree, initial bite is worse but still way better value though. I ordered another set.

I put them on my hellcat and 392 Challenger and I like it. Just put new rotors on front. most Mopar dealers want 1250 . A piece. Monster Mopar got them for 655. Plus shipping. Ask for Sam. New Mopar rotars have only 3 slots on each side. I think Mopar is changing them out with less slots, maybe to many cause heat at high speed braking. Not enough beef on old ones.

So on a daily drive deal, they are as good as the stock brembos in your opinion. Thanks...i'm glaring at the not so "loved" SRT 392's. Missed my chance to order one from the factory (I live by it lol) being Anal retent I'd want to keep it OEM, but a grand ( CDN) for one brake disc is a bit over kill, what's your impression on those Replacement Rotor rings though?

Hey Mason just installed these on my 2011 Mazda Miata. So, I thought the same thing. The initial bite when pressing the brake is pretty stock... Kinda bummed. But, when you stand on the brakes they definitely stop harder and faster than OEM. So my plan is, keep the power stop rotors and pads. Get through winter and soon as summer comes around I'll do some EBC yellow pads because what im looking for is the first initial "bite" overall the PowerStop pads are good and better than OEM along with the rotors. For $185. I'm extremely happy

That why I upgrade the brake hose to stainless steel and put high carbon rotors

How important do you think the initial heat cycle break in is? To be honest the stock 6-piston brakes are super grabby stock. So maybe z26 pads will actually have nicer feel. What about swapping them in the rear? Or did you only do the front.? Thanks for the video.

Just put them on my 03 terminator mustang, They are bedded in and are so quiet and smooth so far. Babying them until they are broken in all the way 😹

i have these on front of my z32 with 354mm Street warrior discs & pads with adapter brackets. Better upgrade from stock dated 90s calipers 😮
