Honestly I enjoy your guys banter with each other. It’s true to you and your authentic love and relationship. Sure if you are actually upset maybe discuss it off camera but the funny not serious back and forth is fun and feels so genuine and relatable to real marriages.

I guess I can see how people who don’t have that kind of back and forth in their relationship think that it’s mean but my husband and I have talked about it and we both think it’s funny and we don’t take it seriously so it’s enjoyable for us and my husband has said he would be bored if we couldn’t joke around and give each other a hard time about stupid stuff.

My relax: how easy remotes are to lose. They fit perfectly in between couch cushions, under chairs and rugs, and folded in blankets. I never remember where I put it and it could ANYWHERE, so every time I want to watch tv is a freaking scavenger hunt. I need some sort of app that helps me track my remote at all times. Btw love you both this was a great episode.
Omg! Seriously! Especially stupid Roku remotes! Ours gets lost EVERY DAY because the kids will sit it down in weird places like most recently on top of the fridge and we spent an hour looking for it. They should come it a beeper or something. I’d rather go back to the huge bulky things! Ugh.

I could listen to Lee talk all day my father and grandparents were from Northern Ireland moved to Canada in 1956 my father lost his accent as he was only 6 when he left NI but Lee sounds exactly like my Pops and i miss hearing it so much great podcast : )

Yay I’m finally early. As a mama who had twins in June and has 2 toddlers this feels like a good accomplishment. I love all the outfits you put your twins in. I wish I could afford them and dress mine up. They are super cute.

It's always a little uncomfortable when "Mom & Dad" argue but it's important to let "the kids" witness appropriate bickering so they (we) can learn how to argue with love and respect.
My parents never fought or argued (at least never in front of us), still don't. They've been married 41 years.

Lee in was genius, as he was spot on about all the things we say - I think Brits have lots of words for being drunk (rat arsed, smashed, hammered, plastered, wasted, leg less- to name but a few). And his low-key British accent was also spot on, as lots of us, IMO, do actually sound like that, and not particularly posh, although you might disagree. Cheers mate!
Loved listening to you guys talk about signatures! I actually write almost exclusively in script which amazes a lot of people. My 5 year old keeps asking me to teach her because she thinks it is pretty. I write so much quicker in script than print.
Repeated the British accent segment twice on Spotify and was just laughing to myself, this morning I woke up thinking about it and thought I had to relisten/ watch it here😂😂 this was fun

@@0KellieCollins0 that’s the excuse she gave but there was a lot of backlash over a song Erik sang on the last podcast. The song was inspired by a silly song Flynn sings about his private parts and a lot people thought that was inappropriate of Erik to use that for a song

Ha! I used to love the Ecto Coolers when I was a kid. I was born in 78 so I can relate to all his Q&A's! I loved Saved By The Bell... Had a crush on Zack Morris. Loved Nirvana & Kurt Cobain so much that my mom called me in sick to school so I could stay home & cry all day when they announced his death.
I know this was posted 3 days ago but I'm ABSOLUTELY loving the Lee part!!! I have very close England friends from all over England like Leeds, Liverpool & London. Whenever I'm around them for a while I start getting their accent!! They've even video taped me to prove to me I do it. Also who cares about your age difference!!!!! Age is just a number, you cannot help who you love! You two are perfect for each other! Growing up I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Spice Girls!!! I still have all my memorabilia!!

Since I was in Erik’s generation, but also had younger sisters, I was able to get all of your trivia questions for each other correct. ☺️ And since I predominately watch UK shows, I was also able to correctly pronounce those British sayings.

Colleen, cheeky nandos (or any other food place) is basically something you say when you feel excited and mischievous for going out for food/fast food. Perhaps you guys could start saying: ooo let's go for a cheeky in and out 😂😂 I hope that helps

For some digital things you have to sign there is sometimes a option that says “adopt a digital signature “ it gives you some examples to pick from and then you just have to click your way through.

I’m English, aged 36, and often say ‘fancy a cuppa’. All those phrases are sooo common to me, I didn’t even realise they were particular to Britain. Also ‘fancy a cheeky pint?’ Very common! It’s cheeky because it’s probably a Tuesday and you shouldn’t really be drinking 😂

BS in Forensics here! When you compare handwriting in cases you can look at what’s called the ductus, which is the way in which the letters are formed (i.e. do they start at the top or bottom of a letter, are the lines connected, do they often connect two letter if next to each other, etc.) This is very useful when comparing writing samples or examining a sample for forgery. It’s also why they make you write the same sentence over and over and over if taking a handwriting sample to see your true handwriting style/ductus.

Lol! For cookies, firstly, I’m really grateful they started asking. Secondly, I always reject all the ones that I can. I like when there is a “reject all” button, but it’s annoying when you have to uncheck all the boxes.

I work at a bank...we use signatures on file to compare to checks that have been signed if we need to confirm the correct person has signed. As we also have a copy of your ID on file (which has your signature on in)
