12 Mario Things you can recreate in Levelhead but NOT in Super Mario Maker 2

- In the classic Super Mario games there are several mechanics that unfortunately are not fully reproducible in Super Mario Maker 2.
Levelhead's editor offers simple yet powerful tools that allow us to recreate some of those cool Super Mario-ish design ideas!

your level designs are so clean and effective, you really put a lot of effort into everything, love it
That last level looks pretty good, actually.
If Ceave Gaming sees this, they will now be possible
Where is he
Not correct he only did it for Mario maker 1

8:49 Of course we can ! It’s actually surprisingly simple !
1: Donut overflow the ELB so it’s at 99
2 : Add the mole so it‘s now at 100
3: Put bullet blasters that shoot Muchers on P switches
If the ELB is full (100) it cannot fire evil Munchers but at soon as the mole is dead, the ELB is now 99 and the Bullet blasters can now fire evil and dangerous munchers on the P switch to triggers them.
If on top of the stage, there are munchers on top of okayish brick blocks, when the p switch triggers, the brick blocks turn into shiny, yet deadly coins and everyone’s favoUrite red plumber dies because he is crushed by evil, yet evil munchers.
I hope it wasn’t too complicated
It wasnt complicated, as you said, it was suprisingly simple.
@DevontePlayz Games its actually suprisingly simple. That entire comment is a Ceave Gaming reference.
Gotta love evil, yet evil munchers

I am so happy that one of my favorite UA-camrs plays one of my favorite games
I forgot why I stopped playing levelhead again. Think I’m gonna go back to it
Lets be honest, even if this is in SMM3, the fans Will always want more
So true
Fr, I also have that issue. I’m pretty greedy when people talk about smm.
8:34 I said it yesterday and I'll say it again: you can probably make this in SMM2 using the enemy entity limit
I actually made something a lot like this, just you keep the mole alive until the end for it to get you a key.
@@unowncommenter9581 or u can do that :

This is really cool! Thanks for the video, definitely impressive what you can do in this game, love the hidden walls ( especially when used correctly, which btw you were doing perfectly)
This goes to show the vast number of things that can be added to MM3 and should’ve been in MM2
This re-upload erased the segment talking about the "lack of spawning P-Blocks" and replaced it with Swinging Burners. I hope i saved the original version in the Wayback Machine website...
@ξχρgαmεr64 That was the point, he forgot there where P-Blocks on Mario Maker 2 already and was saying in a segment that precisely MM2 DON'T have such thing, only mentioning coins and blocks usage with switches.

WE GET IT YOU LOVE LEVEHEAD MORE THEN ANY GAME
#1: Put launchers in clown cars such that the clown car can die. Trigger the clown car death when Mario approaches. There's probably even better setups for this one.
#2: Disguise tracks as generic decoration, then use switching tracks combined with offscreen switch triggers.
#3: Firebars (overlapping with each other, hide the bottom half), or fireballs on tracks.
#4: Make the platforms loop around on a track off screen. You can actually do that easily in a horizontal level by using Custom Scrolling.
#5: Again, Custom Scrolling, combined with Scroll Locks.
#6: As others mentioned, ELB triggers.
#7: Switching tracks are once again your friend here. The collection check is a bit complex, but doable.
#8: I'll admit my defeat on this one.
#9: Launchers on switching conveyor belts, combined with position detectors that trigger a rapid-switch setup when Mario is not on the launchers.
#10: Broken track setups at the screen edges.
#11: Should be possible with Scroll Locks and offscreen shell contraptions.
#12: Stack some red launchers on tracks (I think that still makes them stop firing when blocked), then block them with expanding boxes (you can import 3DW exclusives via Black Hole).
It's nice that UA-cam still lets you watch a deleted video if you're already watching it when it's deleted. Kinda like how SMM2 lets you play a deleted level if you're already playing it? Except you can watch a deleted video as many times as you want until you click off it. Where as deleted levels have an error on completion.
On the camera scrolling secrets in MM2, thwomps act as proximity triggers, so it is possible. It would take some setup to achieve it without showing the thwomp
This game is probably the SMM3 we deserve. Love this game to bits.
Rotating Burners also appear in NSMBU, in Boarding the Airship.
Es medio satisfactorio que apenas hayas conocido a level head. Me alegra que gracias a ti más gente lo conozca.half satisfactory that you have barely met level head. If this became a feature in mm2 there will be so many troll levels

Levelhead does what SMM2 doesn’t!
True
Could you share your Levelhead creator code please?
Yeah
his name is looygi bros
@@the_real_bo You can't look for nicknames in Levelhead. Just like SMM2, you need the creator code to find a maker.
Finally!
Wraparound also appears in NSMB 7-2 and 8-6, and NSMBW Coin-1. It also appears in NSMBU in Coin-2, I think...? But it appears regardless.
Don’t forget all the way back in the very first screen at the beginning of SMB2 1-1 and in some SMB3 levels
Ok I gotta check out Levelhead now
I remember I used to have this game on my Xbox and thought it was pretty similar to Mario maker
I didn’t know that levelhead can be created in super Mario bros 3 Thanks!
When I think of SMM2 ripoffs, I only think of levelhead now lol
Btw levelhead looks so cool I mean it looks like an advanced SMM2
I personally think that these two games are very different and the only things that are similar are you build levels and it’s a platformer game. They both have very different ways of building levels and I like LevelHeads way a lot more.
This was a long time ago, and my opinion has changed. That’s what I think now.
@@N0AHOfficial it’s okay. Wasn’t criticizing
Better be taking notes, Nintendo!
You can make the infinite moving platforms in SMM2 by using track that only the camera sees and platforms.
This looks like a Cool Game!
Can you remake all the New Super Mario Bros games in LevelHead?
Cool

Game builder garage says hello...
I might randomly do random stuff in levelhead
mobile lol
levelhead is such a complex game
10:31 how to make that a eye switch thats target GR-18 only ranges 50,
How can I make those endless spawning platforms, i recreated them in super Mario maker 2 and they worked perfectly, I will use the same logic as that.
2:48
how did you do all of that
5:24 pick a door levels... oof..
this should be in the list of things you can do in MM but cant in Levelhead
Bet you will be able to do all these things in game builder garage 😏
You can recreate red coins. You put some pink coins, surround them with p-blocks and put the power-up through a locked door
but the p-blocks are solid, which is quite inconvienient.
15:26 So, speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out?
It is possible to make a keep monty mole on board contraption in smm2
Hint: P switches
I wonder if you can download levelhead for mobile.
Levelhead looks so cool! Where can I get it?
On mobile devices, switch, pc
@@therunawaykid6523 Thanks!
@@HandleThatIsNotTaken glad I could help 👍
it's on Xbox too
I really wonder why Nintendo decided to remove these features if they are really present in Mario games. Was it to appeal to newcomers with a simple interface? Was it to keep the original style? Or they simply cut it for no reason? Well, no matter the reason, I think these ARE MANDATORY in a Mario Maker 3 (if Nintendo decides to launch it...).
not removed, they just never implemented it to either release the game on a deadline
definitely not for the original style, because in nsmb there is the fake walls and mm2 has the nsmb style but no fake walls.
why you put this video to private yesterday Looygy?
they changed #3

Here's something you can't do in neither: Message boxes (think Super Mario World)
But I think we will be able to make them in game builder garage 😉
@@therunawaykid6523 Yeah, pretty much. But GBG is not SMM2.

LevelHead is really fucking amazing
Is it possible to make the goal not require a package? Is it possible to automatically clear the level when reaching a clear condition without needing to travel back to the goal.
just make a portal appear when you complete the condition and just place the package right by the goal
it's not quite what you asked but its the closest you get.
only few know that this is a reupload so who cares
I don't even care because I'm too poor to get this game.
Super Mario Maker 2, I love you, but take some notes!
P0YO
P0Y0
Both Mario Makers are lacking tbh, there are sooo many things on the classic games that you can't recreate in them
If Nintendo cared about patching the game at least
Kinda sad...
