Starbond CA glue makes an excellent substitute for epoxy resin when it comes to small defect repair that you don't have to wait long cure times to continue sanding. In this video we explore using Starbond to rapidly fill cracks, knots, and other small defects to continue getting our project ready for finish.
A common problem with resin and small defects is that you have to mix up a minimum amount of resin that you only end up using maybe 10% of so the rest goes to waste. 8 hours later you get to sand and then discover that some air bubbles opened back up so now you have to do it again. With Starbond CA glue you just spray the activator and wait 15 seconds! so much less wasted time.
