I saw the "steam" as the glue was dripped in. I was going to post to ask if this was an exothermic reaction, and if so, does it produce heat. The reaction looks similar to a compound we use and it gets quite hot when it kicks.

Cyanoacrylate ('super glue' aka 'crazy glue') combines with sodium bicarbonate ('bicarb', baking soda) to emit toxic fumes. Use this method only in well ventilated areas, preferably outdoors. Handy, though-I fixed my washing machine switch this way, and it lasted years. Modellers use it to repair toy buildings and vehicles before shaping and painting, as can be seen elsewhere on UA-cam.

That is a U.K. a plug for a double insulated device, the earth (ground) pin was plastic to start with as the device doesn’t require an earth connection by design.
The plastic pin is there only to open the shutters we have on mains outlets. In other international markets that sort of device may be fitted with a two pin plug.
I still don’t think it’s a great idea in this example because if the home made pin snaps off it renders the socket unsafe and unusable.
