Great video, I use CA as spot cramps to hold the work together whilst main glue sets. Smaller parts that are hard to cramp. I have never used it as a filler! or crack repair. Must be fantastic in restoration work. Thank you Graham
I think the accelerator is like magic. It solves so many problems when working alone with clamping. It's not a stand alone product but with regular wood glue it's a game changer.
I have been using Starbond for over a year and it is a good product IMO. In the US, Starbond is less expensive than Titebond as well, but you can't find it on store shelves like the Titebond. You probably get a fresher product ordering direct from the manufacturer than purchasing it off the shelf anyway. Stickfast is another CA adhesive available in the US but I don't purchase it anymore as it goes solid in the bottle sooner than any other brand I have tried (even stored in the freezer). Thank you for the overview and have a great day. Steve
Good video and thanks for sharing. I've used both, the Titebond for years, and found it to be just as good as the other brand for my uses. Here where I live, I can go to a local store and buy the Titebond but have to order the other brand. The Titebond with the accelerator I use is $4.00 cheaper for the same size as the other brand. To me it's not the price, it's the luxury of being able to walk in and out of a store with the product. Thanks again for the review.

Hi Barry, thank you. Good tip as spot clamps, try it as a filler, brill! 👍
Great video! I am happy to know I am not the only one who cannot get the cap back on my CA glue... ever
🤣🤣🤣👍
Yeah I build RC planes and I was thinking about trying it out so good job answering my questions!
Thanks for the great information, and congrats on the recognition!
Hi Bowers, thanks twice. 👍👍

Hi Tony, I agree. Canned magic. 😁👍
I have some "Hot Stuff" CA glue I have had for years that still works fine.

Hi Steve, thank you. That's reassuring that you're happy with the product as well. Always feels like a leap of faith trying a new product. 👍
Thank you for the video. I had ordered these a couple of years ago, but mine didn't come with any documents, so I had no idea how to use the tips!

Hi Iam, indeed, so far I can see no difference in performance between the 2, I do prefer the nozzles on the Starbond. Testing continues.....
Thanks for the imput, might give it a go.
Hi Paul, seems pretty good so far. 👍
Why can't you find the accelerator in most stores? Only a woodworking shop has it. It's magic.
Is the clicking in the background shop diesel heater?
Yes it is. 👍
