    Greetings, I might have found the solution to your issue of this sunscreen rolling out. Unlike cream sunscreens which you need to keep smearing on the face untill they blend in the skin, this sunscreen on the other hand shouldn't use the same method. I apply the heliocare 1/4tsp on my face at once or 1/8tsp twice, but the application process should be finished within 2mins. Once you finished, you should leave your face untouched for 15mins to 1/2hours. During the period this sunscreen would create the gel-film on the face, messing up with the film before it sets would cause rolling out.
    Gel-film forming technology sunscreens could be a bit tricky to work with, but I love them more than cream sunscreens due to the lightweight properties. I used to have similar problem with ISDIN water fusion and age repair. But once I figured them out, they were great. For ISDINs I need to layer them down carefully by dividing into 4 layers making them spread and clung on to my face. If I let the product clump together, it would roll out.
    Hope this helps ;)

    This sunscreen was recommended by a dermatologist to my mom and she bought it. I tried it - out of curiosity - and I had to go back to use my Korean one because of the rolling off you just described. If you only apply a little bit of it, there's no problem; but then, as you said, you don't get full protection. I think it's a bit expensive for what they offer. Also, this brand is not cruelty free as they sell their products in Mainland China.

    Great timing as I was thinking of buying this sunscreen but found very few reviews on here, so thank you for doing this review as it's super helpful. Please can you review Dr. Sam's latest mineral Gossamer sunscreen??? 🙏

      Hi baciperugina, thanks for commenting and your suggestion, I just had a quick look at it on her page and see she promises zero white cast. However, that seems interesting as it's a mineral sunscreen with 11.8% Zinc Oxide (nano), and she looks positively white in the face after using it....hmm, well maybe I'll check it out. It's also a chemical sunscreen.

    Hi jesper. I really wonder about the difference between this product (heliocare gel oil free) and bioderma photoderm nude touch. As I mentioned befaore , photoderm nude touch is almost impossible to wear an aprroriate amount because of setting and greasy look and I kind of ıunderstand that haliocare oil free has this problem to but my question is, in term of greasiness and setting problem etc. do you think heliocare is the same or worse or a little bit better ?

      Hi again can kog, my opinion is; don't bother with this in my opinion very expensive product that goes white when you sweat or if water comes into contact with it. Also using the right amount it sort of peels or "rolls" off when touching the face. Again, some not using enough might say it's great but they don't get the right protection, I fear. See some of the other comments.

      Hi sabr, thanks for your question. The most matte one I've tried is the Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Denfense Broad Spectrum SPF30 from Paula's Choice, it's a mineral sunscreen.

    I have this sunscreen but I go for a walk and pink drops drip off my brow and it doesn’t sit well on the skin. Gonna stick to my CoS RX aloe sun screen. Was a waste of money. More suitable for Winter sun as I won’t have a sweat on then. Using due to being on Tretinoin but it needs to be reformulated as it doesn’t work well in the heat.

    I tried to like heliocare but the sunscreen isn't waterproof and it melts quickly in humid weather; so what really worked for me was the la roche posay anthelios fluid :D

    This was such a detailed review, thank you :) I just started using the heliocare 360 water gel (only heliocare 360 product available in india, would like to try the oil free gel one ) Heliocare works, but as for the look, makes me look greasy and slimy in the super humid weather here, which that means it needs to be reapplied more often too :/ but this is one of the few products offering good protection against all the troublesome spectrums 🙈

      Hi Sheetal Jagannatham, thanks for commenting. If you are concerned about HEVL and IR-A, it's worth noting that what shields against that is the Titanium Dioxide in the product, and that many mineral sunscreens contains, also others which are a mix of chemical filters and minerals. Heliocare says that they have this Fernblock+ but it's not a sun block, rather is it something that helps the body repair or avoid sun damages. Here is a link to an abstract from an article about Infrared light and the skin, suggesting that IR-A received in vivo, so under natural conditions, are more likely to be beneficial rather than damaging pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26745730/

    I’m using this sunscreen meanwhile, not sure if this happen to you: 1) my pores have cool feeling sensation when sweating ( as if the water flow out from my pore) 2) after sweating, my face started to appear white liquid drop as this sunscreen can soluble with 💧

    • @JesperOffersenBSc
      @JesperOffersenBSc  4 роки тому +3

      Hi Cecelia Pong, thanks for commenting. The sunscreen is, I think, not good in many ways as said in the video. The sunscreen is not water resistant and turns white as soon a water hits it, so no wonder that when sweating it starts to go white and probably then works less good or sits on the skin less evenly. The product, I think, is very expensive and does, as I see it, not work well with normal living.
      HEVL and IR-A light in this product is stopped by Titanium Dioxide and that you can find in rather a lot of sunscreens... It is not their Fernblock+ ingredient that stops HEVL and IR-A it "only" helps, with recovery from the exposure to such rays or so they say it does.
