the reason why nun of these guys couldn't even guard mj at 40 is because of basic fundamentals he would kill them with. even in todays game before kids even learn how to pick up a basketball they want to dribble between there legs. imean plain and simple fundamental basketball is dead now and people fail to realize that's why everyone calls micheal Jordan the greatest not just because the man had incredible athleticism its that combined with fundamentals and his own creativity that just destroyed defenders and I don't think nothing will ever compare to that.

MJ was an absolute master of the fundamentals. To top it off, he was the best athlete on the court every time he laced them up during his prime years. These clips from his time with the Wizards illustrate just how far the fundamentals can take you if you have the talent and the work ethic to master it. The dude was an unstoppable force of nature on the basketball court.

James N yeah it was amazing watching Jordan from 1984 to 1998. Seeing him play from 1990 to 1993 was amazing. No one on the floor was even close to his level. His defense was just as good as his offense. And the dunks he did on alot of the centers was crazy. His game really started changing 1997 to 2003 with lots of fadaways and using more screens to score. But yeah you wont find another 40 yr old scoring 43 pts in a game like MJ did and he did put up 51 pts at 38 yrs old. Amazing to watch. Michael Jordan (Air Time) was a pretty cool video on MJ.

It isn't even on youtube. Like it never happened. You'd think that would be a legendary game, and have every bit as much exposure as the other 2 games. I've never understood that. Aidan McQ Kobe is the most skilled shooting guard besides MJ and the closest to him but I doubt 4 years from now if Kobe will be or could be as efficient as MJ. Kobe has the same ability but he never was as perpetual as MJ meaning Jordan doesn't waste as much movement as Kobe probably because he doesn't have the ball handling ability and Kobe has already at age 36 played more basketball than Jordan at age 40. Also I noticed Jordan wasn't getting doubled and tripled as often as Kobe has during this season. Anyway Jordan is still the greatest sg ever.

The hustle of this omni is beyond confounding.
*intercepts a pass in the defensive paint area by knocking the ball loose
*instead of chilling out and letting it go, he instead JUMPS OUT OF BOUNDS to save possession
*proceeds to immediately recover from that and runs the length of the court - 3/4 distance on the dribble mind you
*ends the sequence with a facial baseline fadeaway jump shot plus the foul for the and-1
***ALL THAT AT FORTY MF YEARS-OLD***
